We had a brilliant couple of nights stay at the Lyndhurst House and we will certainly be going back there again later in the year.Nick and Alison were fantastic hosts and they made us feel very welcome :)
Holly & Mark - March 2020
I booked this stay for my daughter and her partner as a Christmas present and they absolutely enjoyed it. The hosts were very welcoming, the room exceptionally clean and the food was lovely.
Everything was wonderful and very clean. Just a really homely place and the owners were lovely and very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent.
Overall this place was fabulous and will hopefully visit again.
Spent 3 nights at this B&B and had a wonderful experience, It was close to shops and restaurants, You even get a discount card on the room keys which you can use in a number of restaurants and shops, The staff were very friendly and nothing was to much for them, The breakfast was nice and there was a lot of choice to choose from, The cheese omelette was probably the best that I have ever had, We stayed in the sheep pen which was a lovely room the bed was very comfortable, it was moderm and tidy, We bought a bottle of champagne with us which we left on the floor and went out for the day, On our return to the room the staff had bought a ice bucket up with ice and put the bottle in it which was unexpected and very kind of them, I would highly recommend this b&b to any one and will be returning in the future.
Warm welcome good breakfast
Bed room a little small no space for clothes
Shower room very small if we stayed more nights it have been a problem
We wish the couple well
Dejligt værelse med eget bad. Lidt meget støj fra vejen om morgenen, men bestemt til at leve med.
God WiFi og tv med mange kanaler. Dejlig, men lidt høj seng.
Very good and friendly hosts, room clean and well presented. Ensuite narrow but works well excellent shower. Bed extremely comfortable. Choice of items for breakfast great ( even had Vegemite only Australian’s would understand ) . Easy walking to Main Street. Overall would recommend and would stay again.
Excellent bed and breakfast run by friendly hosts. Located conveniently within walking distance of the village, the New Forest ponies and the fabulous Waterloo Arms pub. Room was comfortable and clean, and the morning cooked breakfast was delicious (with Vegemite kindly available for this ex-pat Aussie!) We would happily return if we were in the area again. Note the check-in is relatively late, but the hosts Kindly let us drop our car off which was all we needed. Thank you for an enjoyable visit
Easy to find off main road. A warm welcome on arrival. The room was small but very clean and modern. Bathroom was also very small but again, very modern and clean. The breakfast was very good with a broad selection; the poached egg with avocado was delicious. A lovely area, we would stay there again if in the area.
Lovely accommodation but just a couple of minor points which may improve customer experiences. The en-suite shower did not have a shower curtain and the bath is not fully tiled (so effectively a shower is useless) so I could only have a bath unless I wanted to stand in the shower holding the shower head. Breakfast was started at 8.30 a.m. as a standard, which is too late for most working people although you can request an earlier time it wasn't really offered with much enthusiasm and felt like it would be an inconvenience to them.
We have an excellent stay at this hotel a few days relaxing, it was comfortable, clean. We were quite centralised to get to places. The breakfast was lovely and there was a good selection to chose from. Nick and Alison were great hosts and very helpful.
This is a family run B&B with 5 bedrooms, we were greeted by the lovely Nick and was shown to our room on the top floor. The service we received all weekend has been absolutely amazing, from checking-in, to the breakfast which was included and cooked by Alison, it was definitely one of the best breakfasts I've had! It's all made to order and the ingredients used were fresh and everything was cooked perfectly. If you don't want a cooked breakfast, there were plenty of cereal and yoghurt options too. The rooms are all modern and look brand new, the bed was really comfortable with a nice, big, thick blanket which was perfect! You can tell the owners have added a personal touch to the place and are very thoughtful, we came down to breakfast on Easter Sunday and everyone had a creme egg waiting for them. It's the little touches which makes all the difference. The hotel is located in Lyndhurst in the New Forest, it's a very short walk (few mins) to the high street where you'll find plenty of restaurants to have dinner and local shops. I would definitely recommend staying here and if I ever go back to New Forest, I'd stay here again! P&M.
Very welcoming, beautifully decorated and maintained, lovely breakfast. Only slight problem is that our room (the Sheep Pen !) had very low ceilings in places and at 6'1" this was uncomfortable at times. Would DEFINITELY stay here again, but not in that room. 0therwise all great !!
Would definitely stay here again. Room was gorgeous, we didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that but the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Lyndhurst town centre was really nice and we are hoping for another visit!
