This hotel is located in a great area with easy access to the train station, metro stations, and lots of shopping and restaurants. The staff is very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
The hotel proudly advertises it is a 2 star hotel and I would agree. There were limited amenities and the room I stayed in was fairly small with a bed that moved about a little fairly easily and pillows could use some improvement as they're very small. However, it was exactly what I wanted, clean bed and room, great location walking distance from almost all of the attractions in the area and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
Rooms very nice. While the room itself was classic European, the bathroom was very upscale and new. Staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful. Location in old town, on one floor of a residential apartment building, we walked a bit to restaurants. Be aware there are three steps up to the one person elevator and managing luggage is awkward. I am 70 and did fine.
Loved my stay at this hotel. Amber, who checked me in, was great!! Stayed in a single room - small but most comfortable bed, great shower, quiet. Hotel very convenient to ‘old’ Lyon, shops, cafes, sites.
The room was clean and had a chic decor. It is close to attractions. Andy was very helpful and drew all attractions in a map and provided directions to transport. I will stay there again
The room is not big, while it is clean. The bed is comfortable, shower experience is good I like the shower gel.Through the window you can see opposite building which has a pleasant view.
Boss is very kind and helpful make me feel rest assured.I feel safe and had a very good sleep in the night, the environment is quiet and friendly. The hotel is near the river saone and 10minutes walk to railway station Lyon Perrache, and 4minutes’ walk to metro Ampere victor hugo, very good location.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
This is an older property and has seen better days. That being said, the room & bathroom were perfectly clean & the staff very nice and attentive. Not a high-end hotel, but great value for the price.
This hotel was small, friendly and spotlessly clean. Very well located for the Old Town, the river banks, restaurants, Perrache station and Ampere Metro. It was ideally located for exploring Lyon, a beautiful, underrated city, in my view. Beautiful, fresh french bread, cheese, jams etc for breakfast+ delicious croissants. Perfect for a weekend of exploring and chilling out. Very happy with a reasonably priced hotel that had all the basics covered. Recommend! Plus Abel Comptoir restaurant =next door. Booking required. Well worth it.
Very nice little hotel with a very welcoming staff. The only downside is if you book a room with a single twin bed, you may get the room I got. Its door was facing the reception, so there was noise that was annoying in the morning and late at night. Probably only an issue for the room I had, so maybe request a room away from the reception if you are a light sleeper
Staff was very friendly. The room was perfect and had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable. This location is 3 minutes to a metro (Ampere Victor Hugo) and 13 min walk to the main train station (Parrache). The hotel is on the 3rd level of the building.
Lyon is such a beautiful city, so much history to discover. Gastronomy here is on a different level. We enjoyed Lyon so much.
Amazing location, friendly service. Room was small but tidy and good enough for me. You get a fob to come in and out the time you want but the check in was confusing to me, I was expecting a reception but there was only a door and a intercom, and then another door, you have to call twice so they can let you in. The hotel is on the 2nd floor, so it’s confusing if you don’t know that. If they sent check-in instructions by email prior, I’ve never received it.
The hotel is the second floor in a traditional apartment building. The building is lovely and the rooms have been sympathetically set up with modern bathrooms introduced.
The hotel is exceptionally clean. Owners/staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us a map and indicating the various areas to visit. There are also lots of guide books in Reception to borrow/look at.
We did not have breakfast at the hotel as preferred to go out to local cafes/boulangeries.
We stayed in Room 9 which is a double room overlooking Rue Vaubecour. We did not really hear any noise from outside through the secondary glazing.
There was a little noise from the apartment above but nothing too intrusive - maybe just a chair moving on the floor.
The location is excellent and we had good weather so walked to all the sights, but there are Metro stations very close by..
We would definitely stay again - thank you!

Decor and refurbishment of old room was haphazard and a jumble of mismatched items. Room functioned, just not aesthetically pleasing.
