This was a beautiful hotel with stunning architecture. The staff were very kind and responsive and the rooms were clean and tidy. It's very close to all the major streets and shopping and dining and easily walkable. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Nice and central .

Central location. Receptionists excellent and very good when asked for anything. Room quite tight and difficult to negotiate movement without hitting your head due to the slanting original ceiling on the second floor. The overall ambiance in the main building is impressive but there is no extras like a gym, sauna, pool , etc . It’s simply the room that you’re paying for, breakfast ( continental) at €45 is extra and the restaurant is open on Saturdays for evening meals only .

We really enjoyed this hotel as a great couples trip. We stopped in town for 2 nights and were conveniently upgraded at check in! Great closet space to hang up coats, comfortable bed and pillows, and amazing A/C. The area was quiet on a Sun-Tues and we enjoyed the in-hotel bar in the evening one of the nights - their espresso martini and amaretto sour were SO good. Through booking with Expedia we got a VIP treat of a free glass of Prosecco each on our first night. Would highly recommend for anyone stopping in town for a couple nights and super walkable - only a couple blocks off Vrijthof Square with lots of bars, restaurants and grocers to stop at.

Het is een statig en indrukwekkend pand wat veel sfeer heeft. De kamers zijn ruim en comfortabel. Gezien de prijs en het aantal sterren had ik wel meer luxe verwacht. Het ontbijt sla ik de volgende keer zeker over, te duur voor het gebodene.

Positiv: - Tolle Lage und wirklich schönes Gebäude Negativ: - wir hatten die Juniorsuite gebucht, an sich ein schönes Zimmer, allerdings war es unmöglich eine angenehme Raumtemperatur zu erzeugen - bedingt durch die einfachverglasten Fenster hört man leider jedes Fahrzeug der angrenzenden Straße - unser Zimmer befand sich im Erdgeschoss zum angrenzenden Garten. Der Garten wird von den Mitarbeitern als Pausenraum genutzt, was bedeutet, dass direkt vor dem Fenster eine große Gruppe Menschen lautstark zusammensaß und direkt in unser Zimmer schaute. Absolutes no Go im Bezug auf Privatsphäre. - Personal an der Rezeption unfreundlich und arrogant, nach unserer Anmerkung bezüglich der nicht vorhandenen Privatsphäre wurden wir eher belächelnd
