20 Guest, Lakefront Retreat, Hot Tub, Jet Ski Rental

Summary:
Welcome to our newly renovated lakefront luxury retreat, The Susser Estate with cottage. Guests will experience first-class accommodations throughout their stay. The spacious main house sleeps up to 12 guests and separate cottage sleeps up to 8 guests. (20 person max). The main house features 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, living room, and kitchenette. Guests will love the sprawling layout, park like views, and 2-story dock that looks out over the lake and Texas skies!

The Space:
Main House: Step inside to the stunning living space which has a desirable open concept perfect for large groups allowing great entertainment and flow between the kitchen and two living areas. The first living room has a large gas log fireplace perfect for cozying up with a book and cup of coffee. There is a large 75" mounted TV in the second living room, tons of seating with a sectional, and walls of windows overlooking the serene yard. There is a fantastic cocktail/wine bar for entertaining with seating and a game/card table for additional fun.

The gourmet kitchen is a chef's dream with fully stocked cookware, dinnerware, serving-ware, bakeware, coffee bar, and appliances. Ample counter space for ideal catering and serving to guests. Find a seat at the breakfast bar, large trestle dining table, plenty of room for everyone!

First Level:
Bedroom 1: There is a queen size bed located on the first floor with a large sliding barn door for easy access for anyone needing wide door clearance. The room comes equipped with a dresser, mounted TV, closet with hangers, and highly rated memory foam mattress and sheets await you. (sleeps 2)
Bedroom 2: Has a set bunk beds with a twin size bed over a full-size bed with a twin size pull out trundle making this an ideal setup for a kids bunkroom. (sleeps 4)
Bathroom 1: Brand new bathroom including a single basin sink with storage to neatly put away bath products, combo bathtub/shower.

Second Level:
Bedroom 3: There is a king size bed with two nightstands. The room comes equipped with a dresser, mounted TV, closet with hangers, and highly rated memory foam mattress and sheets await you. (sleeps 2)
Bedroom 4: There are 2 queen size beds in this large, oversized bedroom. The room comes equipped with a mounted TV, huge closet with hangers, and highly rated memory foam mattress and sheets await you. (sleeps 4)
Bathroom 2: Brand new bathroom including a single basin sink with storage to neatly put away bath products, beautiful stand up marble tiled shower and luxury rain shower head system with sprayer.

The rec room/garage is a fabulous attached bonus space filled with entertainment galore including a foosball table, ping pong table, shuffle board table, and board games.

The Guest Cottage: A cozy bonus house perfect for multiple families and large gatherings! The living room opens up to the kitchenette with a large peninsula island with quartz counters and barstool seating. The kitchenette is well appointed with a built-in microwave, sink, mini-fridge, ice maker, coffee maker, toaster, and plenty of dinnerware. The living room has a 65" smart TV with comfortable seating for everyone.

Bedroom 1: In our camping themed bedroom, you will sleep under the stars! There are two twin size bunk beds with a twin trundle to sleep up to 5 guests. Here you will find some camping toys and comfy bean bag chairs. (sleeps 5).

Bedroom 2: There is a queen canopy bed that offers a high quality mattress for a comfortable stay. (sleeps 2).

Bath 1: Fully renovated with a modern farmhouse design including a double vanity, dual sinks, and walk-in shower. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided.

The backyard oasis features a large covered patio with outdoor fan, large patio table with seating, rocking chairs, hot tub and hammock perfect for days of relaxation and night time star gazing. Stay in and cook with outdoor gas BBQ grill and fire pit for roasting marshmallows. The 2 story dock is tucked quietly inside a small cove and has beautiful views of the open water. The second story dock features comfortable lounge chairs for sunbathing, and three tables with chairs for great entertainment. The yard is fenced except for where it meets part of the water/dock. Plenty of backyard games including volley ball net, corn hole and bocce ball to keep guests and children busy for hours on end. Two kayaks, large floating lily pad mat and life jackets are available for guests to use.

Boat Rental: There is a 2020 Pontoon boat available onsite for a daily rate of $700 (May 1-Sept 30), $600 (Oct 1- Apr 30). Gas is included. Please message for more info.

The Neighborhood:
The house is located in a quiet neighborhood on Cedar Creek Lake in the city of Mabank, Texas. The neighborhood is all single family homes. The homes are a mix of weekenders and full time residents.

Getting Around:
You can walk/bike around the beautiful neighborhood but would recommend a car if you wanted to go to shopping or out to eat. You are just a few miles from the main road with shopping, restaurants, attractions. You are about 15 minutes off highway 175 that runs from Dallas to Athens. You are about 30 minutes from Canton Trade Days!!

Friendly pups are welcome (2 pet max). There is a $50 fee per pet charged separate.

There is a 2020 Pontoon boat available Onsite for a daily rate of $700 (May 1-Sept 30), $600 (Oct 1- Apr 30). Please reach out at least 48 hours prior to the time of your rental to ensure availability.

We have 4 brand new jet skis available for rent. Daily rate is $600 (May 1-Sept 30), $500 (Oct 1- Apr 30).

***Lake Level *** The lake is full this season. Lake levels can change weekly depending on seasons and lack of rainfall. Please reach out for an update on lake level if concerned. Boats and jet ski rentals are subject to weather and lake levels. We can not guarantee water craft rental at the time of your reservation.
