"Our family was there for an 80th birthday surprise. It was a wonderful weekend in late October. The cottage was well equipped and the view was amazing. There is a bedroom on the main floor and the others are upstairs. Very convenient for us older folks. The town and grocery store was close so we didn't have to go far if we forgot anything. We went fishing and caught some but put them back. The hot tub was warm and clean. We took in a winery which was just down the road. Gail was very attentive and helped us out as soon as we got there. The cottage is beautiful, thank you for everything. We would love to come back again."

"The property is a small cabin on a lake. It is in a quite, peaceful community. We were in town for a wedding so we only stayed 2 nights in the fall. We didn't enjoy any water activities while we were there, but it appeared that the owner provides nice amenities for people that do. Seating is a little limited. One 3 seater couch and one 4 person table. It worked for our party of 4, but if you have a larger party, it could be tight. There is additional seating on the patio/decks, but it was pretty chilly while we were there.There is packing across the street from the cabin which is easily accessible. The hosts were responsive and easy to work with."

"Hosts were amazing! I thought it would be strange staying “in” their home but the apartment was a mini oasis for our family! We had so much fun and the property was gorgeous. They thought of every convenience. From the air fryer to the extra towels by the hot tub! We loved it all. I am a little annoyed that they gave us bathrobes for everyone but only because now my teenagers insist they are a must have! My younger children loved how friendly the dogs and cats were plus we had fish to enjoy! They were amazing host and I would love to stay at more of their properties! Did I mention the game board library!! Thanks again for a truly amazing getaway!"

"My husband and I booked this rental for a long weekend. The rental has a bedroom with a king bed and living room sofa sleepers. It does not have two bedrooms nor 1.5 bedrooms. The instructions for entering the rental were clear and easy. The home was clean and there was a nice note with flowers to greet us. The weeds were pretty overgrown as was the tall grass one has to walk in to get to the lake. It rained a ton so we understood this may not have been easy to get to! The bed is a new, a tempur-pedic type memory foam mattress. The air conditioners where effective and quiet. The shower had good pressure and the water was clean. There were no bathroom hand towels, no washcloths, no oven mitts or pot holders, no kitchen towels and no corkscrew. I messaged the owner and they overnighted kitchen towels, corkscrew and oven mitts. That was very nice of them! They did not supply wash cloths or bathroom hand towels. They have nice TVs and reliable wifi. They have kayaks but there were wasp nests in two of them. The owner graciously offered their personal canoe. They also had some life jackets and water tow rope. I should have brought the broom down as the dock had a fair amount of goose poop. Such is lake living! The lake is BEAUTIFUL! Clean and quiet. It was our favorite part. The area is fairly spread out. Some good coffee, restaurant and shopping spots, not a lot. The Hidden Lakes Gardens were awesome and we enjoyed the farmer's market. Communication with the owners was terrific."
