This is a great option for those looking to stay in the area. Ample parking, spa facilities including a Turkish bath, and an outdoor pool. Staff was friendly, continental breakfast included, would certainly consider staying here again.

Lovely small hotel, the staff couldnt have been more friendly or helpful. The rooms are lovely and the location is excellent. We stayed here the night before climbing Pico and we were allowed to leave our bags and come back to the hotel the following day. They went out of their way to make our stay perfect. It was one of our groups birthday whilst we stayed here and they made her feel very special. The sea is closeby if you want a swim and lots of lovely restaurants. The spa is excellent also. Thank you for having us, hopefully we will be back one day.

This was a lovely hotel. The rooms were modern, spacious and very nicely designed. There is a good breakfast buffet with some great cakes! The restaurant provides excellent food and was good value. The menu doesn't change very much though. I would love to stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Pico Terramar & Spa. The staff was very friendly, the hotel had very calm and relaxed atmosphere, everything was very new and clean and we loved the spa section with finnish sauna, bathtub and pools inside & outside. Only a short (15-20min) walk away from Madalena port and also a supermarket nearby. Highly recommend!

Brand new jewel , one of my favorite stops.

It was the most pleasant experience. I don’t understand how this property is not a 4 star hotel. The room was huge and very stylish, I think every room has views. The location is perfect and the staff is extremely friendly.

I booked an excellent hotel via Expedia. Pico Terramar & Spa at Pico, which is an Island in the Central Group of the Portuguese Azores. Excellent room, resturant and staff. It opned for the first time 2 or 3 months ago.

The property and room were beautiful. The rooms were large and very comfortable. It was a short walk (15 minutes) into the village of Madalena. Breakfast was very good. The front desk staff were not very reliable - the hotel was supposed to pick us up and drop us off at the airport, but did not. Luckily we were able to get a taxi from the airport to the hotel. The front desk was supposed to arrange 2 taxis for me and never did, despite being reminded several times. One arrangement they failed to make was very late at night and I had to run to the village at 1am so I didn't miss my ride. I would stay there again and recommend the hotel, just make sure you make all your own arrangements and do not rely on the front desk. There are some very good restaurants within walking distance.

Sauberes, großes Zimmer mit schönem Ausblick. Das Frühstück hatte eine gute Auswahl. Den Poolbereich mit Sonnenschirmen und Liegen haben wir gerne genutzt. Kurzer Fußweg zum Meer für einen fantastischen Sonnenuntergang. Einige gute Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar. Das Hotel ist absolut zu empfehlen und hat eine gute Lage als Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungen der Insel.
