Excellent option for before UGA game. Some of the rooms are a little noisy from traffic but very beautiful rooms, common areas, and surrounding area has plenty of dining options.

Loved staying in this boutique hotel - walking distance to all the restaurants. The town is very quaint and charming! The hotel is decorated so nicely - the rooms are like walking into your own bedroom at home. Loved everything about our stay!

Lovely on Most Counts

Lovely older hotel. Bedroom was well appointed and had a fireplace. It was walking distance to restaurants and the historic area. Staff very good. Breakfast room was a bit dark and dreary as it was in the basement.

Awesome every time.

The James Madison Inn has always been a great place to stay for my wife and me. The room is always comfortable clean and cozy. The staff are very friendly and the location is perfect for walking around historic Madison.

Lovely property. Rooms fab, and the town is delightful. Downside, the pump dispenser of shampoo in the shower did not work and actually thenother two weren't great either. Also, the breakfast is very limited and the carboard coffee cups leaked all over clothing. These points aside, the property is lovely and I would recommend.

Stayed Christmas Night. Staff contacted me several times to make sure I had the appropriate codes to get in after the office was closed. Rooms were very nicely furnished and had been updated. Conveniently located to the town square. Property is located across the street from Town 220 Restaurant! Excellent restaurant! Love this hotel and would recommend staying there.

This was one of my favorite places to stay, to date. The inn is fully renovated, but still has its original charm. My room had a gas fireplace (push button startup) and balcony overlooking the downtown and park. The bed and pillows were super comfy and I heard no hallway noise. There is plenty of boutique shopping within walking distance downtown. Although it was listed as a bed and breakfast, I wouldn’t call it that. They had cereal and toast and some microwaveable biscuits. All in all, I would absolutely stay here again.

About double the price of a normal room. But for that you get a room about double the size of a normal room, gas fireplace, and a shower that would hold 4 adults comfortably. Location was petfect, we did not have to move the truck all weekend. Everything is in walking distance of the motel. We were greated with fresh baked cookies and the continental breakfast was good and lasted until 11 (you can sleep in)They had sausage egg and cheese croissants, bacon egg and cheese on a roll that was very good. Yogurt, cereal, three or four different kinds of breakfast bars, fruit cups and real orange juice. Not the stuff that comes out of the machine labled orange juice. The front desk was very friendly and suggested places to eat and visit. I'm very frugal but this motel was worth it.

The room was spotless and the staff very courteous and helpful. Located in the center of town, this was the place to be to enjoy all that Madison has offer, all in walking distance. We definitely will return to stay at the Madison Inn.

Beautiful hotel with great features in a perfect town! We enjoyed our mid-week stay and will come back again. Only inconvenience is that the room TV's and TV service are very dated and very confusing to use. Time for an update guys!
