Great hotel and conveniently located in the heart of Madrid! I loved how central this hotel was, and it was very clean and quiet at night. This property is definitely on my list for my next trip to Madrid.

Hotel was wonderful. Great location, excellent staff, best breakfast we've ever had in a hotel. Pro's: -Get the breakfast. Best deal, lots of variety. Fresh fruit, baked goods, eggs, bacon, cold meat, cereal, pancakes, 6 different types of milk (who knew there were that many) coffee, tea, etc... and a nice, spacious dining area. Staff were excellent. Great value! -Excellent location, close to Royal Palace, 20 minute walk to downtown area, 5 minute walk to subway (metro), 5 minute walk to shopping and dining establishments -Charming sitting area just off the lobby if you want to sit and enjoy a beverage -Excellent staff -Rooms were clean and comfortable -Had dinner one night in the dining area. Food was good and reasonably priced. No complaints Cons: -Shower was difficult to understand how it worked but we managed -Only Spanish channels on TV, no Netflix, Youtube or other channels. I like to watch news from home (Canada) on Youtube at the the end of our day to keep up on things. Had to use our phones which was an inconvenience -Could hear other patrons in the hall when we were asleep late at night All in all I would recommend this hotel to others and I would stay here again if in Madrid. We liked it.

I was overall disappointed. On arrival, with a toddler and multiple bags, no assistance was ever offered to use luggage cart up to the room. They only provided 2 towels, it was 3 of us, so I called first 2 nights for additional towels and on the 2nd night was told they are only allowed to do 2 towels PER room, regardless of how many people are staying over. He said that providing us with the extra towel on our first night was just a courtesy. I mentioned that another reason we need the towels because the shower, heavily leaks, he then gave me a hard time for not reporting it to the front desk and said he would make a note of it to make sure someone fixed it the next day. Well no one ever fixed it because it continued to leak. In all my years and countries of traveling, I’ve never been capped at 2 towels per room. The positives were they graciously let us borrow outlet adapters for our chargers because we forgot them and on the day before checkout the front desk guy helped us set up a taxi for a pick up to the airport. We did have an incident in which we had to call for a new comforter because my daughter got food poisoning from a restaurant and threw up on the bed, the young woman that came to change our bedding was so sweet and kind. I wish I wrote down her name. Besides the gentleman who set up our taxi and this housekeeper, everyone else seemed to lack a bit of customer service and kindness. Location is good, safe. Lots of uphill walking to main attractions.

Our one night stay was the worst hotel experience we had on our two week trip. There was no hot water in the shower and they do not answer the phone at the front desk- we tried again and again. I had to get dressed and go to the desk to inform them of the problem. The staff member seemed annoyed and said they would send someone up. No apology. Someone arrived about ten minutes later and could not fix it so suggested that we move to another room. It was late in the day and we had unpacked and did not want to waste time moving so he sent a repair person. The repair person explained that sometimes the shower hot water does not work if the sink hot water does work. He fixed the shower and then we had no hot water in the sink. There was visible mold in the shower area. The breakfast was nicely set up- but the eggs looked like powdered eggs and were tasteless and barely warm The gentlemen who greets arriving guests (at the door) from the street was very professional and pleasant. The location was good.

Great centrally located hotel, lots within a short to reasonable (30 minute) walk. Staff were very friendly and always at the reception. Room very clean and spacious with the biggest bed I've seen. Aircon very useful in the 35C heat! Ensuite very good. All in all a great place to stay.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt, Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Die Lage in Madrid ist perfekt. Man kann zu Fuß in die Stadt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen.

El hotel está en un la ubicación muy buena 15 min caminando a la plaza mayor, 12 min a Downtown de Madrid, El Staff es muy amable, sus habitaciones son pequeñas , si llevas muchas maletas te vas a liar. Su cama muy cómoda aunque los almohadones que ponen sobre la cama como decoración estaban sucios, el baño es un espacio cómodo pero su ducha es muy complicada y el agua sale muy helada o extremadamente caliente es difícil lograr un punto tibio. Dentro de lo demás fue agradable
