"This was not what I was expecting as a hotel. First of all we could not find the place. There was no signage indicating the way or that a hotel was there like other places we saw along the road. The directions connected to the listing took us to dead end roads. We finally got near the location and we thought that it was still wrong because it was in a little village and it looked like an abandoned house was there. "We arrived early and a young man checked us in but we couldn’t go into our room yet so we were going to Che k out some of the sites. He helped us and gave us maps and info. He was very helpful. He spoke English and Portuguese and he understood that I was trying to use Portuguese so he was patient. Our room was excellent with a king size bed which we had not had in a long time. It was quiet and didn’t transfer motion. The room was very clean and spacious. We used the pool and loved it. Everything was great. We would stay there again."

"The quality and comfort of most Paradors is pretty consistent and this one certainly didn’t disappoint. Great location overlooking the pretty town and just a 10 minute gentle walk to the centre. The pool area is perfect for a lazy relaxing day and Paloma on reception always greeted you with a smile. Lovely stay thank you"
