"Flagship 1" Live-Aboard BNB: Paddle Boards, Kayaks, Dinghy, Crabbing, and More

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed at this beautiful houseboat with a group of eight, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The location at Willis Point is stunning, and what made it truly special was Johan — he made himself available to ferry us across to Brentwood Bay by boat, which we used more than once. When guests came to visit, they met us at the dock and were ferried over rather than having to drive around. That kind of hospitality is rare and it made the whole trip feel effortless. We had kayaks and paddleboards at our disposal, and the wildlife was unreal — two eagles flew past every morning, a family of seals made regular appearances, a heron would drop in and settle in the trees, and jellyfish drifted by constantly. The boys even had a memorable encounter with a sea lion on the other side of the bay. Memorable might be an understatement.Judy and Johan went out of their way to accommodate us at every turn — including arranging extra parking when we needed it. The houseboat is beautiful, the hosts are warm and generous, and the experience is one we’ll be talking about for a long time. It was a once in a lifetime experience for each of us.Highly recommend. We’ll be back."

10/10 Excellent

"We had an excellent stay! The apartment was spotless, very well located, and everything was exactly as described. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made everything very smooth from the beginning. One thing we especially want to highlight is the bed — it was incredibly comfortable! We slept and rested so well, which made a big difference after a long day exploring Victoria. The shower was also fantastic, with great water pressure and temperature.Overall, everything was very well taken care of and thoughtfully arranged to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place!"

Unbeatable views/sunrises, spacious, hiking, sightseeing, wildlife.

10/10 Excellent

"This is a five star property.First, Emma and Mark are wonderful hosts. Everything about our stay was superb, and they left us the most thoughtful local gifts. The property is nothing short of stunning. The view literally have to be seen to be believed. It looks like AI but is very much real. It's also a very comfortable house for large groups (we were a group of six), the internet is fast (I had to work on several days), and they are dog friendly which is key for us.The location is perfect for exploring the Island. There are plenty of stores in the area, and Langford has a Thrifty (very nice grocery store) and BC Liquor store.I cannot recommend this property enough; truly one of the best we've ever rented via VRBO."
