5/5 - Excellent
Had some nice shops and good local food restaurants. There was a coop grocery and convenience store where we picked up a few things we needed to eat in the car and have in the hotel rooms at night.

The room was comfortable. The staff were courteous and welcoming. It was disappointing that there wasn’t a cooked breakfast on offer but understandable as the refurbishment is ongoing.

We loved the coziness of this property. Check-in was self managed with a lock box. The view was amazing!

We were only in Mallaig for an afternoon so didn’t explore much but enjoyed our stay.
Very east ferry over here and convenient location as a nightly stop between Skye and Oban.
Mallaig was our launching point for a day tour of Skye, so we didn't do much there per se except take the ferry to Armidale.
Small fishing village.
The early ferry is too early for breakfast at the hotel and there is no food on the ferry. I wish we would have asked for a packed breakfast at the hotel; I'm sure it would have been nice for a picnic or to eat while waiting for the ferry.
