Unfortunately the description Hotels.com. used was inaccurate and we would not have booked the property. There is NO - on site parking as stated. On arrival the property is located at the end of a terrace of 5 houses down an uneven path and through 2 gates. "Llety Nest is a semi-detached cottage on a working farm. It is in a picturesque qnd quiet area, and while not in a town, not far to drive for shops etc. The Cottage had a fully equipped kitchen including a slow cooker, stove top, microwave, dishwasher and full oven. The washing machine and dryer were very welcome. The lounge room was also well equipped with free Netflix, and the cottage had good wifi and TV signals. The bed is a double, but comfy. Glenys, the owner is lovely and sent great...

"The owners don't communicate. Place was not cleanwith lots of things broken, including, shower, toilet and taps and door and steps up to it. Mold all over. Smelt terrible. Not vaguely as described. Only stayed one night as too late to find anywhere else. Asked for discussion on refund. They will not respond. Was also impossible to get in touch with Expedia to try and sort out. They only provided the full details of venue two hours before check in after constant ringing and messaging. I suggest...

"Almost perfect stay... Hotel, Bar and room was perfect, lovely big room, big comfy bed, Air-con, fridge, safe, TV, kettle cups etc. Big lovely bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower. The only thing that let it down for me was no hairdryer, so used to every hotel we've stayed in having hairdryers in all the rooms. Sent a message to say we didnt have one but didnt get a reply. Found out on our last night that the couple next door had a hairdryer so not consistent. My advice bring a hairdryer with you. Would have given it 5 stars otherwise. Would recommend though great hotel on the main street in Barmouth."

"Absolutely amazing place .. great food.. lovely staff..the guy at the front of the house who worked the bar and breakfasts was so nice.... a true gentleman made everyone feel welcome.. the rooms were fantastic with air conditioning ..we had an apartment with all the cooking things available if we wanted to cook for ourselves but we had breakfast included and then self catering .parking is provided free in a nearby carpark. The hotel is situated in the centre of Barmouth but it was still very quiet ..it's a five minute walk from the beach and there's loads of restaurants and bars nearby some are dog friendly. All in all it was one of the best break aways that we'd ever had .. Barmouth is such a wonderful place it has everything you need for a holiday ..beaches ...gift shops.. history ... Country walks..good railway and transport links..and very close to Snowdonia with river walks and hidden rock pools . The only downside is that we didn't stay long enough !!..but we've booked in again for next year it was that good 👍👍"

"We had to change rooms to a smaller cheaper room as the one we were given had a shower which wouldn’t turn off and was leaking. Whilst it was good they could move us we were not offered any kind of recompense for us having to move to a smaller cheaper room, after we had paid extra for the one we booked! Even a free drink or breakfast would have been accepted but nothing …. Which was a shame!"

"What a treat to be able to stay in such a wonderful little cosy cottage which has everything you require. As for the outside space truly magical with the stream running along the side of the garden and wildlife truly glorious.Highly recommend ."
