I called and checked into my hotel drive four hours the day of the reservation. I called because I was delayed and could not make it that evening said I would be there in the morning. The front desk said everything was good and that I was checked into my room. When I arrived I was told my reservations were canceled and they gave my room to someone else. The manager on the phone was the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with in the hospitality industry. Wouldn’t help because I didn’t know the name of the person I talked to a the phone desk, even though I had the exact time of when I placed the call and spoke to the front desk. There’s only one employee at the front desk. He could have easily checked to see who he had working at that time if it was truly that important. He was just being an extremely rude and unprofessional. How do you check someone in, charge them the entire stay and then cancel the reservation and sell the room all in the same evening? Then make derogatory remarks and have an attitude towards the people you just put out of a place to stay even though they have already paid and checked in over the phone. This was by far the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced, not just as a hospitality issue but throughout all of my experiences as a consumer. Under educated, poor use of words, prejudice remarks, and childish temper tantrums…
The property was not well maintained, it was gross. We stayed at candle wood suits and it was fantastic!
