"This cabin was neat and cozy. The bedroom on the lower level was adequate but it should be noted there is no egress other than the door to the room (no window) and the ventilation is technically in the closet. Since the thermostat is upstairs the downstairs can get much cooler than the upstairs. We arrived after dark so it was difficult to see the door lock and gain entrance. Once in we found the cabin very neat and clean. No complaints about the beds, mattresses, or bedding. All was comfy. The fireplace warms the cabin A LOT, so only use if it’s truly cold outside! The turn into the driveway is very tight and difficult to navigate in a minivan. We managed but it was a bit scary in the dark! The hot tub was nice, though being mere feet from the road there’s little privacy now that the leaves have fallen. The fire pit was adequate but could probably use a bit more clearing now that it’s fall and there are quite a few leaves. We cleared the area to the best of our ability. It will likely need to have some of the ash removed to remain safe through the remainder of the season. Overall, the location is good and as advertised being within driving close distance of most attractions. I’d recommend this property to either a pair of couples or a small family of four."

"This cabin was perfect for our anniversary getaway. We loved that it was up in the trees, peaceful and pet friendly. It was close to the sites we wanted to see- Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, Old Man’s Cave- and all the information we needed before and during the trip was provided. Super helpful!"
