"Lovely little hotel. Not too busy, always easy to find somewhere to sit. Rooms. Great size with a lovely balcony. Grounds kept really well with beautiful flowers all around. "Disappointed to be honest. First gripe is that although the actual resort is lovely, pools maintained well and lots of them, beach is good, it is directly under the flight path and there are a LOT of flights coming in and out all day long. Room cleaning was a bit hit and miss and one of our rooms didn’t have the drinks stocked once during our 10 day stay which was annoying. Booking restaurants was a bit frustrating because you always had to go to reception, could only book 2 days ahead and the reception always took a loooong time. The food was dreadful though which is the main disappointment, didn’t have a single good meal. Selection wasn’t great and seemed like everything had been heated up from the freezer section, we ate out many times. Also frustrating when the website advertises access to the waterpark at the affiliate hotel next door but upon arrival we were told that we had to pay an entry fee and our wristbands didn’t even make us eligible for drinks on-site. Not a big deal perhaps but very misleading. It was a pleasant stay but I wouldn’t go back."
