Decent stay with room for improvement

Overall a pleasant stay given the price and star rating of the hotel. The room was clean and the room size was generous and the hotel offered ancillary services like airport drop off etc. breakfast is a simple but small no frills spread. What marred the experience would be the issue with their room key cards, which kept deactivating every day, causing us to have to make multiple trips down to the lobby during the stay to have the card reactivated. Also, the jacuzzi function in the tub in the suite room was not working, whlch was a slight let down.

Excellent stay - i booked this hotel for my parents and i highly recommend it. Location is superb, hotel is new (3 years), very clean, two restaurants are great food, the rooftop lounge is unique; hotel also helped my parents book a car for day trips which was very well managed. The owner also met my parents and made a connection. My parents enjoyed the stay and if I plan to come to Mangalore; i would book this hotel without hesitation - initially i had planned to book Taj Vivanta for parents - but found this gem as 1/4th the cost. Thank you owner Mr Shenoy for you and your team's warm hospitality - keep up the great work!

Inaccurate info in check at 11am mentioned in expedia as actual was 12pm. Over this, hotel front end staff delayed check in by 2 hours. Bad check in experience although hotel is good

There were stains on the bedsheet, duvet, and pillow. We’ve triggered the make up room switch but nothing. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. Room was not made up until we checked out. You can hear the guests / housekeepers outside the door chatting very loudly.
