"Nice little hotel right on the beach. Very nice hostess and staff. Direct access to beach and beach front restaurants. Rooms are small and basic. They only take cash so be prepared. "
"Easy parking right in front of the room with a gate to protect the car. Very safe area. Across the street from the beach. WiFi and AC. Only thing to note is you cannot pay with a credit card for the room once you get there, only cash. So make sure to pay beforehand and bring a record of the receipt "

Private 2-Bedroom Beachfront Villa in Celestun - Your Secluded Escape
10/10 Excellent
"This was our first visit to Celestún, and it was a memorable one. The photos of the property were very accurate—it’s nicely decorated, clean, and charming. The location is fantastic, just steps from the beach. It was such a treat to wake up and walk a few steps to watch the sunrise over the ocean. The water is incredibly shallow, allowing you to walk far out into the sea, which was perfect for beachcombing. We found some truly stunning shells! The property is located about 3 miles down an unpaved, rocky road, so plan accordingly. We did all our grocery shopping before arrival, which worked out well. We chose one day to leave the property to take a tour to see the flamingos and enjoy dinner in town—highly recommended. One of our favorite parts of the stay was relaxing on the beach or in the water during sunset. It was peaceful and exactly the kind of seclusion we were looking for.The property itself is quaint and full of character, with iguanas frequently spotted around the grounds. As it’s a beach property, you might notice a few geckos peeking out from their hiding spots inside the house. They’re harmless, and keep to themselves—though if you're squeamish, it's good to be aware.Overall, this stay was everything we hoped for: quiet, beautiful, and immersed in nature."
"I loved my stay. The staff was attentive and friendly. The rooms are wonderful and the hotel beach was perfect. The food in the restaurant was delicious. I look forward to coming back "
"Great place to stay! Celustun is a very cool remote Mexican town. This house has to be one of the best places to stay in the area. Very nice. Great location. Beach access right there. Swimming pool was a nice feature. Plenty of places to sit. Air conditioners work well. Guilermo (sp?) the housekeeper is an exceptionally nice guy and went out of his way to help us when one of our guests left their purse there. Can't say enough how friendly and helpful they are. The whole town is wonderful (though it is Mexico - don't expect Boca Raton in Florida). I will most definitely stay there again. "
"Super clean, fantastic service, comfortable beds with crisp cotton sheets, beachfront with a view to die for. Yes, it's basic but it's also very affordable. Absolutely a gem! "
"The 4-5km road from Celestun to the Play Maya is not good. Potholes the size of cars. Drive slowly. When we arrived the Property Managers, were not expecting us. They contacted the owner and he had forgotten. He offered an extra day for no-charge for the confusion but we couldn't accept due to plans. After unpacking in #12 we discovered the water pressure was almost non-existent. The Property Managers contacted the owner and he had has moved into #17. The common areas of the Playa Maya were very well maintained, the pool was clean but between the units and off the deck to the beach there was lots of debris. Bed and Pillows were very hard and uncomfortable and also we were missing a toilet seat that the property managers replaced the next day, they were very prompt with all requests. After traveling with VRBO for years we expected an information sheet explaining about the rules or restaurants We were very disappointed."
