Not satisfied and depressed

I paid online before I arrived. I was not allowed to enter my room because they said I had to pay cash at the front desk. The police were present and I explained to them that I had already paid through hotels.com and they call the owner of the apartment and the girl that booked me online in WhatsApp And they agreed to let me have the key, but I had to pay in cash and the police were present and I’m in a foreign country and I’m afraid they may throw me in jail so I paid in cash so I am not pleased with this at all. I never found out they wanted me to pay in cash until After I had already booked. It’s a 27 hour flight and I was tired and I had jet lag it was a terrible experience at the residency Inn booked through hotels.com and Expedia I tried to call in contact hotels.com and Expedia and I was never able to get anyone
