The room was in fair condition. It definitively could use basic upgrades. The light above the bathroom sink was not working properly. Very dim and maintenance was not able to fix because the part was not available. There were no batteries in remote and that’s never happened to us before. The staff member who checked us was not as welcoming and pleasant as she has been on many of our previous visits. We were disappointed by this as most people in our hometown are usually pleasant. 😔 The facility is not in the best condition and the prices higher than some competitors in Shreveport.

Construction is being done, material could have been more organized. The floor where my room was smelled like mildew (very strong odor). I asked the front desk staff and was told one of the rooms flooded with the rain like that's normal. Last the room wasn't clean, had hair all over the bath tub wall. Room did not smell clean. Breakfast was horrible. Never staying at another Best Western.

4 years ago I stayed here. It was clean, staff was very helpful had no problems whatsoever. May2026, I walked into the hotel and checked into my room I was so disappointed. The floors was dirty haven’t been vacuum, toilet, tub seems like it hasn’t been cleaned, furniture dusty, microwave nasty. The young lady was nice enough to check to see if there were anything else available but unfortunately nothing. She sent someone to clean but it wasn’t to my satisfaction.The breakfast was awful, the pool was nasty, The treadmill needs work ect…. My 4 days here was awful, please look elsewhere if you can. What a waste of money..

My husband went for 2 funerals and brought 2 suits. He left one in the closet after check out. Turned around to get it and it was gone. The room hadn’t even been cleaned yet. One of the staff had a bad attitude, stating it’s not in the trash because they checked. It was an expensive suit and nobody made an effort to get to the bottom of this. Considering the circumstances of the trip, the low to no effort to figure out what happened to his suit was disheartening. Since the room was not yet cleaned and no one else was occupying it, the only logical explanation is staff saw it when they went it after he checked out and took it. Nobody pressed the issue, it was just the attitude that nobody knows anything about it. Very disappointing! We will never return to this hotel again.

Upon checking in the corridor had a harsh chemical smell. The front staff were great trying to accommodate what would be my issues to come. Check in go to room it’s hot smells stale old and the bed sheets are wet (did not dry throughly) I assume bathroom has one crooked face towel a big towel on the toilet top. Call down they give me another room.This room has bottom sheet only not top are comforter and pillows has no covering. Money I paid is ridiculous. I went to Walmart got my own sheet set blanket an pillow so I spent double for a two day trip. Really piss me off but because the front desk staff tried I left In peace but I feel robbed. The cleaning staff need adjustment fast!

We were very disappointed to find the hot tub out of order. It was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. Very disappointed. A shout out to Taylor at the front desk. Very sweet, very professional, and a pleasure.

The hotel it's self was a 4 but the problem is the main driveway into the hotel is excessively steep and caused $500 damage to the front valance of my car. DO NOT USE THIS ENTRANCE! There is a n entry on the back side of the hotel that will not destroy your car. They have a sign on the main entrance that states no 18 wheelers but did not say anything about cars.
I was not the first that bottomed out.
You don't realize how sharp the transition is till it's too late.
The sign for 18 Wheeler's. As you can see they have room to correct the transition but choose not to.

The elevator was broke dow you had to use the stairs. You can tell housekeeping barely cleans it was things left in room from the previous visitors. The refrigerator had a bad smell with black stuff wasted in the freezer. Even with the temp set to 67 the room still didn’t get cold.

THE ROOM WAS VERY DIRTY, THERE WAS TRASH AROUND THE BEDS, FLOORS WERE VERY DIRTY IN THE HALLWAY AND IN THE ROOMS, THE HEAT/AC UNIT WAS NOT WORKING CORRECTLY. THE POOL WAS DOWN (WHICH WAS THE WHOLE REASON I SELECTED THIS HOTEL), THE ELEVATOR DID NOT WORK, WE HAD TO TOTE EVERYTHING UP AND DOWN THE STAIRS, WE WERE UNABLE TO USE THE EXERCISE ROOM BECUASE A GROUP OF FEMALES WERE IN THERE SITTING ON THE EQUIPMENT CHIT CHATTING AND PLAYING ON THEIR PHONES. THE HOTEL SMELT TERRIBLE, LIKE MILDEW. AT LEAST ON THE SECOND FLOOR IT DID. THERE WAS TRASH PILED UP ALL IN THE HALLWAYS AND THERE WAS ONE TOWEL IN THE BATHROOM FOR A DOUBLE ROOM WITH FOUR PEOPLE. THE BREAKFAST MILK REFRIGERATOR ALSO HAD CANS OF BEER IN IT WITH THE MILK.

I have stayed at this hotel several times a year for years now. This is by far the worst stay experience! The parking is ridiculous, our room smelled moldy, the carpets look like they’ve never been clean, the toilet wouldn’t flush, the couch bed wouldn’t pull all the way out, the breakfast was not that great, they closed the pool for “cleaning” even tho no one was cleaning it, got stuck in the elevator so then it was broken the rest of the stay, staff was rude, had only sheets on the bed and had to ask for more blankets. The only reason I always choose this hotel was because of the inside pool and it was nice. Not anymore. The oilfield workers have run that place in the ground. Plus the price I paid per night for THAT is ridiculous!!! We had 3 rooms in total and there was something with each room. Don’t stay here! Take your money down the road to Spark by Hilton! That’s where I will stay from now on.

The check in with nicole desk person was great She changed our rooms as the first was smelly and dirty The second romm was better but not by much It was a little cleaner but not smelly I found the carpets to be stained, needed vacuuming in the corners and edges The bathroom door did not close. The furniture needed cleaning The bathroom needed a deep cleaning I chose this hotel because of the rating of 8.4 but was very disappointed when i arrived We needed a place to stay after a funeral, so we stayed but the hotel did not represent a place we would stay at this price point. Please clean up your act The place looks good from a distance but on closer look was sorely disappointing.

Room was clean. Staff were pleasant. Hotel had a funny funny smell in lobby/breakfast area. Some type of disinfectant? Really strong and unpleasant. What no one tells you is there’s a train track next door and the trains come through all night. Other than that, hotel is a meh. Not bad , not great.
