"We had a wonderful stay at Loyd Hall Plantation and were really impressed with how the staff handled unexpected issues. The first room I originally requested showed as available, but due to heavy weather the night before, the roads had flooded and housekeeping was unable to clean it in time. The staff communicated this quickly and kindly upgraded us to the camilia Suite instead. When we arrived, we did notice the A/C in that suite wasn’t working properly. I contacted the staff again, and they immediately responded and upgraded us once more—this time to the Jenkins Suite in the main house, which was absolutely beautiful and felt like a true premium experience. It easily felt like a significant upgrade, and we really appreciated being moved there. Despite the initial hiccups, what stood out most was the responsiveness, professionalism, and willingness to make things right. The Jenkins Suite ended up making our stay exceptional, and we would definitely return. Thank you Ms. Roxanne."
