"Everything was as expected! We checked in late in the day and staff was super helpful making sure we got in ok and found parking in the lot. Breakfast was great and had lots of seating. The ice machine was working which wasn’t the case with other hotels on our trip, so we were excited about that!"

"The hotel is very beautiful and modern. Our room was excellent! The beds are very comfortable, but most importantly the front desk staff are some of the most amazing and helpful people! And I would love to give a shout out to Priscilla, who was just very accommodating and very nice!! Bonus : the food is good !!"

Gated 35-Acre De Soto Estate: Pool, Lake & Patio!

"Review of Desoto VRBOOur family of 6 adults and 2 children enjoyed a fabulous week on this gorgeous property. The house is very well provisioned with a fully stocked kitchen, including sharp kitchen knives and sharpener, two refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, and lots of space for all the food we brought. Very nice linens and comfortable beds. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash available in every one of the bathrooms. The long, more casual dining room overlooking the pool seats 18-20 and was perfect for meals, game playing, and also Lego construction. We spent a lot of time outside at the pool and grilling. There were lots of pool toys. The game room was a huge hit. We played pool, threw darts, played shuffleboard and ping pong every night after dinner, and often in the middle of the day. There were multiple game tables, some in the game room, some in the basement, multiple seating areas and televisions, and three wet bars with plentiful cocktail and wine glasses.We were especially impressed with the rapid response from the host. We needed a screwdriver and the property manager brought one over. Any questions or concerns were likewise quickly addressed."

"Room was nice and clean, lots of space, and basically staying in a downstairs Guest Quarters at a Ranch and Wedding Venue. Lots of horses in view and big yard to walk the dogs and very private, in the country. Owners are super nice and checked on us to make sure all is well and offered Tick spray if we were going to walk dogs in the woods. Big forest adjoins the property, So horses and fields to the front and forest to the back. Loved the big living room, great room with lots of room for social time when returning back from a long day at Purina Farms. The A/C is awesome as is the unlimited hot water for a nice long shower."

"We stayed to be close to an event we were working. The house is listed correctly. Cold AC and excellent communication with the very nice owner. It was clean and had everything you needed. It is actually a bigger space than the pictures portray. It is a bit dated but has very interesting decor, clean and comfortable. We would stay here again."
