"The Manoir is a charming, rustic property. A warm and friendly welcome from Marie. Te property is a couple of kilometres from the nearest village so peace & isolation is guaranteed. A refreshing dip in the pool on arrival was very welcome. Marie’s home cooking for the evening meal was lovely with a great selection of wines. The room was on the top floor. Good, comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great walk in shower."

"This is a simple, roadside lodge style hotel. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and spoke some English that supplemented our very basic French. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast (pay extra) was simple but adequate and included a toaster with bread, condiments, scrambled eggs and bacon as well as the usual pastries and yogurts. There is no restaurant at the hotel but there are a number of places to eat within walking distance but don't expect any fine dining. We ate at the Asian...
