"AVOID THIS MOTEL. Don't let the refresh of decor or low-ish price fool you. The Internet didn't work in my room, and the manager says it "often drops" in other rooms. When I brought it up to the front desk staff, the lady at reception simply denied there was a problem and became angry. When I politely asked to sit in the lobby to do work e-mail, I was yelled at and angrily kicked out under threat of her calling the police. For what? For trying to sit quietly and access the Internet I was paying for and neeed for my work? It was completely irrational. I had paid for 3 nights up front via Hotels.com and was told "We never give any refunds. Ever." When I checked out two nights early, abandoning my $250 payment, they even kept the $30 in parking fees we were required to pre-pay. As I sat on the dirty floor in the hallway to do email, the neighbors could be heard shouting and cursing. The pictures look cute, but this is a low-life dump in reality."

The room was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked really well, which made a big difference. The staff were also friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience, and I’d definitely consider staying here again."
