  • Our house is located about 500 meters outside the center of Marktschellenberg in a quiet setting at the foot of the Untersberg. Berchtesgaden and Salzburg are just a 10-minute drive away and are also easily accessible by bus. There are two bus stops in the immediate vicinity. Set out directly from the vacation rental on many beautiful hikes around Marktschellenberg and Ettenberg, home to its famous pilgrimage church.
    Grias Eich! Welcome to our spacious, cozy vacation rental at Feichtlgütl. The renovated, approximately 110 m² vacation rental offers plenty of space for two to four people to enjoy a relaxing and restful vacation. The apartment features a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms (one double bed, two single beds), a large bathroom and a separate toilet, a cozy living room with a pull-out couch, a storage room, and a coat closet in the entryway. Towels, bed linens, a hair dryer, dish towels, and dish soap are provided. - Freezer in the storage room - Cleaning service available by arrangement for stays longer than 7 days - Laundry service (fee of 5 EUR per wash and dry cycle) - Electric vehicle charging station (use by prior arrangement)

Berchtesgaden, with the Watzmann and Königssee, as well as many other beautiful destinations in our valley, invite you to enjoy an unforgettable stay with us. The world-famous Mozart city of Salzburg, with its fortress, zoo, and Hellbrunn Palace, is just a few minutes’ drive away.

The apartment was spotless and beautifully furnished and appointed. It had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the view of the alps from the balcony is fantastic. The apartment is on the third floor of the house in which the host also lives but has a separate entrance. The host was very nice and accommodating. She spoke English as well. It is in a small, quaint village. It is close driving distance to many attractions like the Untersbergs cable car, Saltswelten, Berchtesgaden as well as Salzburg. It is worth noting that payment does not get collected through VRBO and is collected in cash by the host at the end of the stay. The VRBO listing is managed by a third party agency which does not communicate with the host directly on your behalf so there are no check in instructions and if you need to speak to the host directly you must call them. That wasn’t clear to me from the listing. We would definately stay there again.
