Nice place

Excellent service! Only downside was that the bathroom was very smelly and that a lamp didn’t work when we checked it, but the lamp was quickly replaced. Also the butter they served at breakfast was old, so please look into that. BUT the hotel itself was amazingly pretty and the staff was super helpful.

I had a lovely stay at Riad Magi, but I'm afraid this review won't do any good because apparently the Riad has been bought by a private owner and I was the very last guest. My room was beautiful and very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were all very friendly. It got a little uncomfortable on my last night, since I was the only person there! But I guess there is no planning for that.

We loved our stay at Origin Hotels - Riad Magi! Not only was the space beautiful but the staff at the Riad was extremely helpful the whole time. Pickup and drop off at the airport was smooth and efficient and the managers were very helpful giving up helpful advice for navigating our time in Marrakech. Our room was always cleaned and the breakfast in the morning was very substantial, much more than a typical breakfast buffet. I would highly recommend this Riad to anyone travelling to Marrakech

Never get the room named Nour/Noor on top floor room smells of sewage toilet constantly all the time! be careful check before you book the room. Management not helpful or seem to care about the issue include Abdel (operations) and Christelle aka Chris manager who doesnt reply back or get back to you! Didnt want to change my room even when there was availability in the next Riad or give any money back. General staff like Fouad his brother were really good, cleaners did the best job they could do in given circumstance. Tap in sink doesnt work properly nor shower have a rail you certainly dont get value for money for what you pay. Management need to address issues and work on their customer service experience!

Es un Riad muy tranquilo en medio del barullo de la Medina. Cuenta con un agradable patio con naranjos. La habitación era amplia, cómoda y con una decoración muy cuidada. Los desayunos fueron deliciosos, abundantes y variados de un día para otro.

The taxi drivers knew where it was. It's at the back of the market and then you have to walk a bit. It's the tired "street" to your left and then walk down through the tunnel and make a right and it's there. nice breakfasts in the morning.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We stayed in the blue room on the second floor and it was beautiful! Wonderful staff and such a neat space. The bed was great and the bathroom in our room was also so nice and clean! We enjoyed the morning breakfast and everyone went above and beyond to help us. Location is also phenomenal! Would definitely stay here again!

Unforgettable experience.

Riad Magi is a unique place, plenty of mystique, relaxing with a peaceful environment. We felt wellcomed by Yassine at the first moment when we arrived at the hotel, who was very kind and friendly and made a special tea for us. Each morning we had a delicious organic and fresh breakfasts, and all the staff was awesome. The location is very convenient, close to the Medina, Jamaa El-Fnaa Square, Mosques, touristic bus, and restaurants. Yassine gave us important recommendations and was very helpful all the time, and we enjoyed very much the great conversation during our last evening in Marrakech. We had a great time in Marrakech, but most importantly we got a new friend.

Riad dans la moyenne mais relativement difficile d'accès. les taxis ne peuvent pas s'approcher suffisamment du lieu et il est nécessaire d'imprimer un plan pour trouver l'adresse exacte et de prévoir des valises à roulettes (ou alors de se faire aider par un porteur). Accueil sympathique et prévenant. Rapport qualité/prix correct. Évitez les chambres en rdc moins tranquilles aux heures des arrivées, départs et petits déjeuner...

Morbide Authenzität

Das Riad liegt zentral in unmittelbarer Nähe des Djemaa el Fna und bietet eine Oase der Ruhe in der Hektik des "großen Platzes" und der zahlreichen Souks in der Nähe. Es ist sehr authetisch, leider in den letzten Jahren baulich etwas stiefmütterlich behandelt. Das Team des Riad ist sehr engagiert und freundlich und stets darum bemüht, Wünsche zu erfüllen.

Prachtige Riad midden in de Medina.

Zeer hartelijk ontvangen. Schone kamer, prima bedden. Elke dag schone handdoeken en kamer. Ontbijt op het dakterras was echt geweldig en afwisselend. Kortom een aanrader om hier te verblijven. Zeer sfeervolle binnenplaats. Het enige minpuntje was dat de transfer vanuit het vliegveld en weer terug 2x€15 dus €30 kostte. Dat vonden wij echt schandalig aangezien de prijzen van de taxi ritjes zeer laag zijn. Wij hebben zelfs op een regenachtige dag een taxichauffeur gehad die ons langs een aantal bezienswaardigheden reed, deze rit duurde 2 uur en kostte ons €12,50. Het ritje naar het vliegveld was 10 minuutjes.

Nice Riad but bathroom in the twin room smelled

We had booked to stay at the Riad Magi for 5 nights. We arrived at 9pm after walking from the airport bus stop around 10-15 mins away. The riad is off a main street down a dark lane and around the corner which isn't ideal for female so solo travellers. Yessim (?) was very friendly and checked us in and made us a mint tea. We had booked the last room available on Expedia which was a Twin Room (on the top floor) and the key called it 'Noir'. Whilst the room was nicely decorated, we noticed a very strong and unpleaseant smell in the bathroom. We asked to change rooms immediately but this wasn't possible as there were no other rooms available. We spoke to the manager (Abdel) who was surprisingly unapologetic about the issue we faced and repeated that he couldn't do anything there were no other rooms available. Despite the maids cleaning the room daily, the smell persisted which means that it is something ingrained in the fabrics/walls or a drainage issue. The maid also always left the bathroom doors open which meant that the smell permeated into the bedroom area which was not nice. This persistent odour meant that it was uncomfortable to use the bathroom and definitely tarnished our stay here. I also found the mattress to be very uncomfortable and was unable to swap mattresses too which caused me to have a bad back. We also had a box of cakes and an eyeliner disappear from the room.

Muy recomendable

Nuestra estancia fue muy agradable. El Riad está un poco escondido entre callejones lo que lo hace bastante especia, no nos costó encontrarlo. De noche puede dar un poco de respeto pasar por la zona, sin embargo nunca tuvimos ningún problema, al poco tiempo cogimos confianza. Su ubicación es excelente, a 5 minutos de la plaza central. Los encargados de llevar el Riad son encantadores, siempre a nuestra disposición y con una sonrisa. El único fallo es que la habitación que elegí no se correspondía con la que me dieron, problema de la página web, no del hotel. Desayuno exquisito y limpieza total. Muy recomendable.

Great place was in the centre of Marrakech

This is a lovely place not to far from Marrakech's top sights. The rooms were large and clean, the staff very helpful and polite (special thanks to the night shift staff who treated us to fresh mint tea every evening!). We booked a cooking class (private), which was tailored to our requests and took place at the Riad. Breakfast was very nice, and on sunny days, it was served on the rooftop terrace. We also booked a tour to the Atlas Mountains as well as an airport pickup service through the Riad - both very good experiences, and had the only cars that had functional seat belts in all of our time in Morocco!

Un rincón de paz al lado del caos del zoco

Este encantador riad está supe bien ubicado y desde la plaza es muy fácil orientarse.Lo recomiendo 100%.Además de esta gran ventaja es súper cálido el ambiente que se respira en él, gracias a los colores, los frutales y la tranquilidad. El servicio es excelente y los desayunos son para recordar...me olvido de la cama que tiene un colchón estupendo! Ya es la segunda vez que me alojo en este riad y no será la última si vuelvo a Marrakech.
