The Sofitel has great common areas and pool. They had a few restaurants but would have liked a coffee shop or quick serve cafe. The rooms were ok but a bit dated and the beds were not comfortable. Staff were all pleasant but no one went above and beyond. Location is also pretty good and the property itself is large. The best part really is the pool area. It’s a solid 4 star hotel but not a 5 star luxury.

The stay at Sofitel Marrakech Palais was excellent- amazing service and rooms. Our stay was unfortunately very short and barely an evening spent. But the beds were very comfortable and shower stalls and toilet all appeared modern and newly renovated.

The outdoor patio is absolutely lovely (day or night) and highly recommend it. The location is very convenient with easy walking distance to many dining options off property and quick car/taxi access to most of the things a visitor would want to see. But...rooms are very dated as was the onsite restaurant. I found the front desk staff to be rude and not at all accommodating. Overall, definitely not a 5-star experience but a reasonable 3-star option as long as you manage your expectations. That's just not what we wanted or what we paid for averaging over $400 per night in the off-season.
