"Pros: Die Ferienwohnung ist groß, sehr gut ausgestattet (überdurchschnittlich) und man kann sich direkt wohlfühlen. Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Kinder durften sich frei auf dem Hof bewegen und haben sogar noch Trampeltrecker und Roller bekommen. Zur Stallzeit durfte man zu den Kühen und dort auch mithelfen sowie beim Melken zuschauen. "Recently stayed here for 1 night on a longer tour of the area. Lovely hotel in a very good location to explore the area, 40 minute drive into Triberg. Room was very clean and comfortable, staff extremely helpful and friendly and breakfast was very nice. Would certainly come back."

"Beautifully situated for wonderful views of the valley below. Good parking. The proprietor, Ingolf, is a really likeable extrovert with good English. Best not to mention World Cup, Germany, however!!! Breakfasts are good with occasional treats. Our room was large, plenty of storage, clean with a table for four - good for takeaways etc. (no chambermaid, but not needed anyway) balcony more than adequate for that evening tipple. No lunch or evening meals, but no problem. Beer, soft drinks in large fridge - honor system used. Braunbergstuble further up the hill (watch out for small pointer signs) welcoming, excellent with large meals and Credit cards accepted. Hotel Hirsch in town, Credit cards not accepted and told after the meal. All in all a lovely break.Thank you Ingolf."

"Probably one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. The building is only a few years old. The suite was clean, quiet, comfortable, and huge. Ample room for a family of 4 with luggage. The bathroom was large and beautiful. The staff was very polite, professiinal, and helpful. We did not eat at the restaurant but it looked nice. The hotel is very quiet at night and the town goes to sleep at dark and you cannot hear any outside noise. There is a wonderful bakery about 30 second walk from the hotel."

"Parking was a bit difficult. Had to park across the street in an underground and pay €14 per night. The breakfast was remarkable and the best we have ever had in any hotel traveling. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They didn't seem to know how to find an ATM. Suggest that information be available to travelers who need to exchange currency."
