A hidden gem of a hotel. Absolutely adored the property. Warm greeting on our arrival, beautifully clean rooms, lovely swimming pool and surrounding area - lots of greenery. I loved staying at the Royal Cottage. The staff are warm and friendly, the rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast is good and the best part is it’s so close to the town and harbour. Really lovely. I wish I didn’t have to leave.

The hotel Royale was perfect for my stay in Cassis. The staff was friendly and professional, my room was clean and had a beautiful view. The bed was comfortable, the floors were clean, and the bathroom was spotless! The café was delicious. The front desk staff was especially helpful, courteous, and thoughtful. As a solo traveler, this place was ideal. I felt safe in the hotel, in my room, and walking back-and-forth to the main village in the evening. The pool area was lovely! Very relaxing and the pool water was just right. The pool view isn’t bad either!

Once I found the property (GPS had it on the wrong side of the road) I was quite happy with the location. It does not have some of the amenities I am used to (in-room coffee) and shower that doesn't flood the bathroom, but being able to walk to the city center made up for it. The front desk staff were wonderful!

I found the Royal Cottage to be clean and have a convenient location. They had a nice pool that closed early and served breakfast that required a 24h notice if you were to order. It seems as if the staff were to be more convenienced than the guests. For what the hotel had to offer compared to its price point, I found it to be overrated! It felt more like a 2 star than a 3.
