"Great location for shuttle pick up to Mackinac Island. Saved on parking at the dock. Breakfast was, so, so at best. Friendly gal keeping it all stocked up and tables wiped down. WIFI connection issues that were mostly cleared up. Can't say enough good things about Eleanore, the young lady who checked us in. There were a couple of minor issues, but she was right on it to make things right. She even went out of her way to help our friends with an issue they had with the Accessible Room. Five Stars for Miss E!"

"Delicious hardboiled eggs, pancakes, oatmeal and cinnamon, and cinnamon bagels. Only 5 minutes of hot water in shower, hot/cold knob in shower quircky, glass sliding door not locked and only had the security bar to lock, room refrigerator literally froze my bananas and apples. On 06/11/2026 Checkout by desandra or sandra unprofessional, didn't know how to make a copy of bill receipt, once my cousin left to watch the dog desandra/sandra would not confirm cousins last 4 digits of credit card to compare bills. The copies of bills could hardly see the print. She just kept repeadedly stating, "I don't know." Check in was easy breezy. Smokers outside your room door. Yuk!"

"Beautiful hotel room. Very spacious with balcony on first floor and able to walkout to the lake. They offered a campfire every night with s’mores. Really a great experience. We do with they offered bacon for breakfast. It was only sausage all week. Otherwise, it was a very good experience."

"The porters from the ferry will bring your luggage to your room when you arrive on the island and take them to the ferry when you are leaving. Greeted by friendly staff (We had the pleasure of meeting Clair and Cora) at the Pine Cottage. Breakfast is amazing! We ate there 5 of the 6 days we were there. Easy to navigate the stairs as long as you don't have knee issues. The cleaning staff were amazing; unobtrusive and quick! Be sure to come back around 4pm for tea time and those giant cookies! We loved the room with the private bath! Claw foot tub so bring your bubble bath; You won't find any on the island! If you needed anything, just ask. We can't wait to come back!"
