great stay

McCall is always a treat. We love McCall. We have stayed in this condo twice and both times we have been very comfortable. A couple of things: both clocks in the living room are broken and need to be replaced or just taken down; the ceiling fan switch in the living room is broken and need to be fixed so it is usable; the sliding doors need to be checked and put on their track to slide smoothly; burned out light bulbs. Would we stay here again? YOU BET! Thank you.

Comfy spot in a great location

Overall we liked the condo. It's older and could use some deep cleaning. The carpets are pretty trashed, but the beds were comfy and it was really spacious. We thought there would be 8 of us staying and there were only 4 who came after all. We didn't need all that room. I was just disappointed in the cleanliness of the place. It needed at least a good vacuum of the entire carpet- saw lots of fuzzies and a few dead bugs on the carpet. Found a coke can left by the upstairs TV, a hair clip right under the master bed, a plastic fork on carpet in the master...things like that should be found and thrown away by cleaners. Also the outside grilling tools were left outside and dirty, and I found some dog food left on the tile in the entry way. The vacasa team did come and replace a broken fan and refill the propane as we thought we might grill.

Golf Weekend

Family Reunion

We were in McCall for a family reunion and all stayed within the complex. The condo was perfect for our needs and very comfortable. Easy bike ride to downtown and access to the local bike paths, and a quick drive to Ponderosa State Park. Some of us golfed and some did the zip line. We would choose this unit again!

**Caution**

Caution... the master bathroom has a shower that does not work. We were not aware of this even though when we contacted the property manager we were told there were 2.5 baths and that should have been enough knowledge. There is one upstairs shower for all the bedrooms and one shower downstairs for the kitchen I guess?! There is a hole in the ceiling in the kitchen which is right under the area of the shower upstairs that has saran wrap over it. The master bedroom also has a huge window that over looks the main room/kitchen that is wide open. There is no glass. So do not expect to have any privacy. (Don't let little kids near it)We were told the shower hasn't worked for a year and the owner doesn't plan on fixing it. If we had been told prior this would not have been a surprise and would not have rented this place. Cleaning was also not good. There is no air conditioner so for the high 80* weather it was extremely hot to try to sleep at night. All the fans to plug in did not work. I would not rent here again and would not use these property managers. Very rude when we talked to them on the phone.

Wonderful Property, cleaning terrible and needs maintenance

This condo is very nice, with great location and upgraded design. Problem is cleaning was terrible and maintenance is neglected. Cabinet door falling off, fans broken or missing blades, just needs some maintenance done before rent to people. When we arrived flooring was dirty, tomato stuck to kitchen counter, silverware drawer full of crumbs and in bathroom drawer had hair on top of towels. Bedrooms upstairs and no air conditioning and box fans did not work very well to cool with windows open at night, so look at forecasted temperatures and do NOT stay if it will be hot during the day as the upstairs does not cool down even with windows open. It ruined the trip when you find a nice place like this dirty.

Communication could have been better but the home was beautiful.

Very clean! But we were told the master shower was back up and running by one vacasa agent when we called ahead to inquire. But upon arrival that was not the case. However for our party size it did not matter. Had a great stay! Would book again once all work and maintenance to the house is done.

Pretty Good with a Few Disappointments

We have stayed here before during the winter and we loved it! We chose to stay again and really enjoyed our stay, but were disappointed with the following: 1. Vacumning: the carpets and several rugs did not look vacuumed and we found some food crumbs in several areas of the carpet when we arrived. 2. No AC- we thought they had AC and were surprised it didn't. They did have box fans, but one of the box fans was broken. 3. Out of order Master Shower- the master shower was out of order and could not be used. We would have appreciated knowing that in advance. They also had a big hole in the kitchen ceiling for fixing things, but it would have been nice to have known before showing up. Furthermore the guest bathroom upstairs was missing a glass door panel making it challenging not to get water outside of the shower with only one small glass panel door. 4. Only one garbage sack and 2 dishwasher pacs were left. Would have been nice to have had a better supply. Also, we couldn't find any kitchen washclothes or towels....we found one that was left in the dryer. 5. BBQ- the BBQ has tank was empty, so we weren't able to BBQ like we were hoping. 6. Broken ottomans- they had two small ottomans that are totally broken and not really useable. Overall, we had a great time and the condo is nice and comfortable, but we did have a few disappointments that made us feel like they weren't really prepared for our stay. We did love the outdoor pool, tennis and location! Aspen Village is a great spot!

Nice place but needs better housekeeping.

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable. The location was good. Thank you for letting me know the shower in the master bedroom was out of order prior to our arrival. It would have been nice to know that the fitness area, or club, would be closed as well as the hot tub and sauna. With COVID-19 this is understandable. However, there were dirty dishes in the cupboard, one of the glass doors on the main upstairs shower was missing and we found glass on that bathroom floor, there were sucker sticks stuck on the side of the queen bed, and food crumbs on the floor of that bedroom.

Disappointing

We were hoping for and requested early check-in considering what we paid and the early check out, were denied the option. Townhouse was dirty: had to sweep & vacuum floors, had to sweep outdoor patio and upper deck, pots and pans were dirty, BBQ was dirty, brush provided was melted and had no bristles AND after only 15 min propane ran out?. Hot water ran out after one person took bath and had to wait couple hours before it replenished. Finally, patio had a major red ant infestation that went into the foundation and in the house, would suggest spraying or exterminator. First poor VRBO rental experience!

Rental great, location fantastic, communication poor.

Had there been zero issues it would have been fine. Unfortunately there were several and we could get no one to respond in a timely manner. The first floor ceiling leaked from the upstairs master shower, luckily it was just a drip and we didn't even notice it until the last day, but it seems pretty important to have someone to talk to about it. We purchased trip/cancellation insurance and 9 days before the trip we left a number and sent an email for a needed change, VACASA didn't get back to us until the day we were supposed to check in. The last issue was just annoying but the property had a great front lawn to sit and relax in, unfortunately there were new dog piles every day and we had no idea whose dog it was, just an annoyance really, not the property owner or manager's fault at all. It was a really great spot, very comfortable accommodations.

Birthday getaway

Grandson’s Birthday getaway! The condo was just right for our 3 day weekend. Quiet neighborhood, the Club provided some activities for the boys such as swimming, ping pong, and basketball. The kids spent a lot of time outside digging snow forts and sledding. Close to town, would love to come back in the summer time.

We had a wonderful time at this property! Everything was clean, orderly and very accommodating with plenty of clean towels. It was very spacious and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and how easy it was to check in and check out. We hope to return again!

Surprisingly comfortable for larger group.

The condo held two families of 4 quite comfortably. The proximity to the Rec Center and Golf Course (for walks) made it ideal.
