"I enjoyed the pool that was warm enough and the hot tub. The hot buffet breakfast was nice but could get crowded at times."

"Really great stay for a great price. Well suited for Vetta spa and Horseshoe Valley. The rooms are somewhat dated, but very clean and well equipped with everything for self catering. The young women at check in was very friendly and welcoming and maintenance staff kindly offered to turn the fire pit on for us, without us asking. Very appreciated! We found that all the staff were friendly with one exception. Upon check out on the 19th of August the woman working at reception. was extremely rude. My husband entered to return the key cards and was greeted with a shouting “the coffee is not ready yet”. When he explained we simply wanted to check out, she continued her rant “I don’t start the coffee until the beginning of my shift….”. Perhaps this was and off day for her, but if not she has no business working in customer service. Sad to leave on such a poor note."

"We were given an adjoining room, meaning we had a door that could give access to the room next to us (perfect for family) but not for us. The door was paper thin, big gap at bottom, so we could hear the conversations. Not pleasant at 7:45 am when we are trying to sleep! We did complain to front desk about that issue."

"It had everything we needed for a quick stop over night. Right off the highway so it was loud but earplugs were provided. Clean. Easy check in (called phone number and they set the lock code remotely)"
Magnificent Lakefront Modern Cottage

"A beautiful lake view right on the water as advertised in a cute town. Very conveniently located close to shops and amenities as well as a park and small beach. We enjoyed the waterfront property but the deck is not ideal for small children (our small children’s feet fell through large cracks). People should also be aware that there is a railway running directly behind the property with train horns going off regularly throughout the day and night."
