"This hotel is in the middle of a largely residential area but the rest of the island is easily accessible via Uber/Bolt taxis at very reasonable prices. We only had breakfast at the hotel which was very good with a full choice available. It is worthwhile walking around the districts adjoining the property where there are several villages wth small bars and restaurants . We found the local people to be very friendly. Many of the buildings are very historic and beautiful."

"Beautiful quirky decor. The lady who greeted us-such a warm and beautiful lady, who went over and beyond to keep us happy. Location close to Medina, shops, bars and restaurants. By the way I love the smell of lavender everywhere. I would definitely stay again. 💜"

"Excellent staff, Grace & Richard looked after us brilliantly, Breakfast was fantastic & had everything you could want. The hotel is right across the road from a bus terminus taking you into Valetta or anywhere else on the island. Behind the bus terminus is the ancient walled city of Mdina . Behind the hotel is Rabat with its beautiful streets , bar/restaurants, tourist attractions, shops & ornate churches."

"Absolutely loved my stay here, room was super comfortable and clean, amazing amenities including free snacks, beautiful sunny pool, Netflix on the TV, and the buffet breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. Its also a very convenient location, close to the village shops and restaurants. This was my favourite place I stayed while in Malta, would recommend to anyone."

"Amazing boutique hotel within the walls of Mdina. Very welcoming on arrival and made it clear they were there to help. We had a lovely room with a panoramic view and all the amenities you need. The fully served breakfast is fantastic. It was all beautifully presented with a wide variety - special mention to Lindsay who looked after us, she was brilliant. Our complete dining experience in De Mondian restaurant was exceptional! The hotel has a pool - not on site but a five min drive away (shuttle provided as & when) and we spent a very pleasant few hours there one afternoon away from the hustle and bustle. Fabulous couple of days at the end of our trip to Malta."

"I was so pleasantly surprised staying here. While everything looks exactly like in the photos there is also such a welcoming and light feel to the place that made us feel immediately relaxed and comfortable. Everywhere was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, the pool was fun to use the view of the dome from our room was wonderful. The staff working there were very genuine, warm, helpful and chatty. The dining area feels like a well lit mini art gallery and breakfast was perfect especially the fresh croissants and orange juice. The area is a bit out of the way of where most tourists stay but we loved taking an evening walk in this beautiful quiet neighbourhood and there were so many choices of where to eat within walking distance. One thing is that ear plugs are provided but you may need heavy duty ones if you are a light sleeper due to the bells from the dome in the early hours but this wasn't an issue for me. We will absolutely be staying here on our next visit to Malta, thank you!"
