"Aaron was an excellent host. We were very late, and he was very accommodating. Beautiful property, very comfortable, clean and well provisioned. I would highly recommend!"

"We wanted to relax by the lake before school started. We had never booked a house through Hotels.com before, but I found a nice cabin that seemed to suit us perfectly. I was given a total price, entered my details, and to my surprise, some third-party company immediately charged me 10% more. This was never mentioned anywhere in the agreement or booking details.
When we arrived, the trash bins outside the house hadn’t been emptied, and bears or other animals had scattered garbage all around. The company that charged us sent instructions with a door code, but it turned out to be the wrong one. Luckily, I reached out to their representative myself and got the correct code.
The company, Evolve — their reviews are below zero. If I had known they were the intermediary, I would never have rented through them.
As for the house itself — not bad overall, but with some major downsides. All the beds had strange and uncomfortable orthopedic mattresses. There was no basic split A/C system in the bedrooms (which is not expensive to install), and fans don’t help much in the heat. The patio cushions were all torn.
The house is generally nice, but there’s a lot of room for improvement. If I were the owner, I would definitely switch to a different management company — these guys are useless."

"This is a rather older cabin; but has been well maintained with upgraded features. The kitchen and all bathrooms were spotless and much newer than the property itself. The main feature to be aware of is the steepness of the driveway, the walk up to the front door and the inside stairs to the upper floor. This is not a complaint - we handled it well and it is disclosed in the description. The reality was a bit more severe than anticipated, however. Again, not a complaint, just a heads-up for any with difficulty with stairs or navigating a steep driveway. The owner was an excellent communicator, very courteous in messaging and ready to please. With only the steepness warning to add, I would recommend this as a good choice for convenience to Highway 4 and a pleasant stay"

"The cabin was great. We saw the big trees, explored the caves and swam at the lake. Wonderful location to do all that in a very short distance. Comfortable cabin the relax and watch movies in the evening and star gaze at night on the patio. "

"Nice, very small town area. Lots of nature areas to enjoy. The house was very comfy with plenty of room. We traveled with 6 adults in total. We never got in each others way at all. Im not the kind to knit pick every tiny thing wrong, so it was a great place to get away. Cell service was pretty much zero, that was a plus actually. Kept the kids off the phones (young adult children). We would definitely stay again without a second thought "
