"This property is an older hotel but has recently been completely redone so it was sparkly clean and new! The rooms are modern looking and fairly spacious. Also the staff was pleasant and were glad to hear we thought the hotel was nice looking and cared for. It is within seconds of the highway so has easy access to the 190. The breakfast was adequate to get your day started in the right note."

"The room was clean and modern, The staff was very helpful with the one request we had. The morning breakfast was more than ample and saved us the cost of eating out each morning we were there. This hotel will be our new go to visit Ashtabula."

"The farmhouse interior was very clean, attractive and spacious. The furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied and there were sufficient bath towels etc. placed in each bedroom. However, several standard items were missing. There was no body soap, shampoo, conditioner or hair dryer in either bathroom. Soap for each shower should be a given. When I contacted the host by phone on our first day to make her aware of this, I never received a call back or the soap. There was only I partially full tissue box in one of the bathrooms and none in the other. The main bathroom on the first floor was missing a toilet paper holder. The Laurello Winery next to the house, served excellent pizza and salad and were very accommodating."

"Everything was great, except for communication with the host. A few days before our trip I messaged the host via VRBO, inquiring if we could have two towels per person, and if the freezer had an ice machine. No response. Re-read the welcome/pre-arrival information, and noticed instructions to call or text with any questions or needs. I sent a text the day before arrival (asking about towels and ice machine). No response. The second day of our stay, I called the number to report a minor issue encountered; no answer, sent a text, no answer."
