"After a hectic start in Istanbul, then off to Bodrum, landing at OKU in Kos was pure heaven.
This resort is secluded far enough from town to feel totally at peace, with a great beach club, pool, and divine breakfast.
One of our favorite things to do was the daily yoga and of course, a massage at the spa.
The staff could not have been nicer.
Would absolutely go again.

"We had a lovely 5 night stay at Chrysoula’s. We had a one bedroom apartment in block F - my husband and I stayed in the bedroom and our 17-year old son had a bed in the living/kitchen area. The air con unit is in the bedroom but if you keep the middle door open then it travels through. Air con does cost a little extra but it’s worth it. The apartments are basic but functional and we enjoyed the outside veranda. If a busy hotel is what you’re looking for then this place isn’t for you. We like the opposite, and that’s what we got. Despite it being the first week in July we often had the pool to ourselves and plenty of sun-beds were available at all times of day - no sun bed wars here! There weren’t many English guests staying in the apartments but again, this was no issue for us.
The family who run the apartments are hard working, lovely people. The breakfast is good with a selection of hot and cold options and fresh orange juice every morning. The chips and gyros at the pool bar are delicious too. The apartments are located close to a supermarket, the beach and restaurants. Give the dog Milo a little stroke when you see him, he’s gorgeous and very friendly.
The only minor niggles we had were the ants in the apartment but it was our own fault for leaving food out. The water pressure dropped one morning and the electricity went off the following day. These are common issues on the Greek islands and were resolved within the hour. We will return to Chrysoula’s again. Thank you."
"Perfect for families. Step free access for those with pushchairs, although, when you’re there, it’s unlikely you would need to use it. The swimming pools are lovely and clean. Beach towels are provided so no need to pack your own. The rooms are quite spacious. Lovely modern bathrooms. We did have a bit of an ant problem in our bathroom but nothing too problematic.
There’s a wide choice of food at the buffet. They grow a lot of their fruit and veg on the premises. You will see vegetable patches between the bungalows. Staff were very attentive and friendly. The children’s area is a little tired and could do with a refresh. Otherwise, a very lovely resort.
Recommend booking your transfers to and from the airport. There are taxis but you could be waiting a long time for them. It can be costly depending on where you’re going. We befriended a taxi driver who took us into the town centre so used him again to take us to the airport. Also recommend getting to the airport a minimum of 3 hours ahead on the way home. Checking in and getting through security is a lengthy processes and quite a few of us had to get fast tracked to our plane because it started boarding by the time we made it to Duty free."
"Magnifique hôtel dans un secteur entouré des plus belles falaises et montagnes de l'île ! Cet hôtel hyper confortable est une de mes plus belles surprises de voyage! Tout était parfait !!"
"We had a very enjoyable week staying at Crithoni's Paradise. Staff were really friendly and helpful, the pool, poolside bar and restaurant were also great. We went during the second half of June and we always managed to get sun beds by the pool. I can imagine it might be more competitive during peak season. Leros has a lovely relaxed vibe and everyone was very friendly wherever we went. You do need some transport if you want to get around, we are in our 60s and hired a scooter which was great fun."
