About this property

Secluded and Luxurious Shepherd's Hut

  • Our luxury Shepherd Hut has been fitted to an exceptional standard, a fully equipped mini home in a private location.

A mini home from home with a TV, full size double bed, fully equipped kitchen and shower room. There is also a wood burner and underfloor heating to keep you nice and cosy. Tucked away beneath the apple trees in the corner of a paddock, you have your own fenced garden around the Hut - a perfect country retreat.

Our hut is located next to the paddock, a short walk from the parking area. Be prepared to walk on grass to gain access, sadly however this does mean it isn't suitable for people with limited mobility. You are free to enjoy the paddock and extensive grounds.

Perfect romantic gateway

I don’t even know where to start. We fell in love with the shepherd’s hut just looking at the pictures. The reality was so much more! It was a 5* experience! Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, amazing views, very private and secluded, cooking wise everything you may need, big bathroom and a powerful shower. Games, wonderfully smelling fresh towels, beautiful grounds, not to mention fresh milk, butter, croissants, yoghurts. Stephen greeted us upon arrival and he was the most accommodating and discreet host I have ever met in my life (and I did work in a 5* hotel industry). Stephen, Lizzie, we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the unforgettable experience and for your hospitality. We will most definitely be back. Thank you.

We stayed here and travelled to Womad at Neston Park. It was a bit of a way to travel x2 daily however the shepherds hut is pretty good. Great setting and very quiet. Lots of birds and butterflies, these last were on the areas left to go wild, nice.We don’t do BBQ type cooking but ate at the festival mostly. There are other cooking facilities but didn’t use them. Food provided for breakfasts. Shop not too far. Steve and Lizzie are at hand for any problems. Take it seriously that if you have even slight mobility problems, think again. The bed is very high!

Perfect couple of days

Firstly Steve is so welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. The weather was very wet and it rained for most of our time here however Steve being the loveliest host offered to drive and pick us up from our dinner reservations so we were both able to have a couple of drinks. This was above and beyond what we ever expected. The hut is exactly as described and what you see in the pics is exactly what you get, it’s beautiful, quiet, private and set in lovely gardens. We did manage to enjoy the fire pit in the evenings which was very relaxing and was just want we were looking for from our short beak away. We would just like to thank Steve yet again for his hospitality and kindness. We will be returning again next year.
