Vinha Boutique Hotel - The Leading Hotels of the World

10/10 Excellent

"What an outstanding property! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The room was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy our stay. The staff were exceptional throughout the property. Everyone was warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to providing excellent service. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection and high-quality offerings. The spa was superb and provided the perfect place to unwind. Dining was another highlight of our stay, with excellent restaurant options on-site, including a Michelin-starred restaurant that delivered an unforgettable culinary experience. One of the highlights was the complimentary boat service into the city, which added a unique and convenient touch to the overall experience. The property itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers every amenity you could want. Convenient parking, outstanding facilities, exceptional dining, comfortable accommodations, and first-class service all combined to create a truly memorable experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxury experience. Five stars all around!"

Holliday Villa - Casa do Sobreiro

10/10 Excellent

"We had a great time staying at Casa do Sombreiro, which is a spacious, beautifully decorated, well equipped house with absolutely mesmerizing views of the Douro river. We rented a car and drove there from Lisbon airport, which took about 3 hours. In the beginning, we were worried about the steep road going up and down the hill to get to and from the house, and opening and closing the front gate, but we quickly figured it out and had no troubles driving there. We were able to visit multiple surrounding cities: Guimarães & Braga (within 1 hour drive), Porto & Paredes (within 30 minutes drive). There is a very nice beach, local bakery, and supermarket in Melres, which is a small local town 4 minutes drive from the house). We also got fresh ingredients at the Bolhão Market in Porto, grilled kabobs, cooked some good food, and hosted our family who visited us and stayed overnight. There was plenty of room for all and everyone had a great time! Thank you very much to our hosts, with a special thank you to Diogo, who came to greet us when we arrived to tell us all about the house and surrounding area. He quickly responded to all our messages and stopped by to say goodbye before we left. He even gifted us the expresso cups that we liked so much. Thank you! "

Quintinha das Hortensias

8/10 Good

"The house was very clean and had good facilities. Washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine etc.Four main bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. Twin beds in the basement downstairs. Downstairs toilet only.Kitchen was a little small for the number of people the house sleeps but we still cooked a couple of times. The outside space is exceptional and the pool and gardens are beautiful. Fruit trees that were full of oranges and satsumas. The view over the mountains is breathtaking.Lucinia in a very attentive host and answered any queries promptly. The bus into Porto is 2 minutes up the road and takes about 30 minutes. 2.50 euros each. Uber is about 20 minutes and varies between 7 to 10.Many things to do in Porto. The house is in a very urban area and very few restaurants around. Supermarkets are readily available but very hilly area to walk. Suggest the Pingo down the hill and you can then bus or Uber it back with shopping. Overall very nice stay with our family."

Quinta das Tílias Douro Valley / 100% Privacy / Rio Douro / Free WiFi / 10Adult

10/10 Excellent

10/10 Excellent

"The room was modern and spotless, the views were beautiful, the breakfast was plentiful. Beatriz was an absolute angel, from making reservations at recommended restaurants, to organising taxis, she often checked in on us to see if we needed anything. What a wonderful find, I'm sure we'll be back! Thank you!"

Quinta do Pedregal Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"The most beautifully and friendly hotel with lovely and helpful staff. The great smile from all the staff was the most pleasing item of this holiday for me and my wife. Hotel was located outside Porto with an easy access to central Porto by uber or bolt. If you are looking for relaxing and friendly location this is the place to stay."

Selection - AL - Seven Bedroom House, Sleeps 14

10/10 Excellent

"We had a great stay here! It was exactly as advertised and the pool and park were great features for our kids. The sheep hanging around were also a lovely touch! Very clean, very lovely place. Little bit far from Porto (actually a 30 minutes drive) but the home was exactly what we were looking for. Our host was extremely kind and accommodating, and we had a great experience! "
