"A very tired hotel. I can handle basic but it was not clean. The carpet had black marks on it and was sticky- we didn’t even want to walk on it in bare feet! There was black mould in the corner of the room and the heated towel rail in the bathroom was filthy and wouldn’t turn down so it was far too hot so made sleeping uncomfortable. The balcony had a broken chair on it and was also filthy. The towels were so old and over washed they were thin and scratchy and the mirror was broken The room also had a low level musty smell. The owners much have got friends to leave reviews of very good as it definitely wasn’t. On the plus side the beds were reasonable comfortable and it was on a great bus route so easy to get out and about on public transport. I would say stay away at all cost, it was one of the worst hotel I had ever stayed in and I travel quite a lot. I am sure there is better accommodation for a similar price. . "
