What a cool place! The inner courtyard with the trees and pool is just amazing, great breakfasts, excellent location within easy walking distance of anything in downtown Merida. Very highly recommended!

We had an entirely delightful stay for over a week. The ambience was remarkably quiet, despite being in a central urban location. Beautiful and comfortable with very hospitable staff who are really great about helping us with recommendations whenever we asked. The room was very clean with large, beautiful windows and breakfast was routinely delicious. The owner took time to talk with us and make us feel at home. We would definitely come back!

The accommodations were wonderful, as was the staff. They were some of the most gracious people that I've ever met. The owner wrote me a beautiful note welcoming me, and it was made even better with the sweet treats that she provided me from her bakery. I will always stay at the Tree House Hotel when in Mérida. The customer service rivals any of the big hotels. They even remembered that I liked bacon. Sounds insignificant but it meant a lot to me. Stay, you'll thank me later. 💕

This boutique hotel is simply beautiful! And precisely what my partner and I needed for our vacation! The interior courtyards are calming and cooling and you would never know they are there from the front facade! The trees are filled with birds and the pool is a refreshing dip after a hot day. The adults-only aspect ensured a quiet experience. Staff is courteous and helpful. The full breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious and varied. The location is ideal for exploring. Highly recommended!

The hotel is very serene for being in a busy part of the city. The staff was exceptional and we loved the adjoining coffee shop. We came for a wedding and spending time in the common areas with other guests was a treat. The staff made us the best cocktail of our trip!

With Merida being 40C during our stay and a bustling place, Treehouse Boutique was an oasis of calm. A really pretty courtyard with a cooling pool and places to sit and read. Our room was cool and very quiet too. Great choices within 2 mins for breakfast and genuinely friendly staff. Would recommend!

I just stayed Tree House for a week. I've stayed in many places around the world. The Tree House is among the best, not only for the professionalism of the entire staff but also for the personal touch and care of its magnificent owner Sunita. It is also perfect positioned for an easy walk to some of the most unique quality cuisine I've ever enjoyed. Its quiet too. Try the Tree House; you won't be disappointed. I'm coming back.

TreeHouse was fabulous! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff was amazing!! They all were so helpful each day, checking to make sure all was well. They arranged transport from the airport, concert tickets and much more! The owner is on sight also making sure all is going well! Also next store the bakery/coffee shop called Pan & Koffee which was fantastic. It is the same owner of the hotel and the pastries, coffee and food are 5 star! Delicious! We will be back soon! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

This hotel was a unique experience but was not what we expected based on other reviews. First, the pool area was not well maintained, or cleaned enough, and there's not real pool lounging space at all. Second, Ambiance. We were disappointed that the fountains by the pools were barely running, and we would have to ask them to turn them on. They would just eventually turn them on briefly, but most of the time they were off. When we arrived the first day, the fountains were on and the sound gave a beautiful ambiance both in and put of the room. Last, room comfort was off due to musty AC, and a crack in the wall which led to small bugs getting into the room. They sent maintenance right away who was going to use raid but then respected my wish not to spray that in our room, so he attempted a small wall patch that looked well done. The bug problem was diminished. They allowed us a late checkout, so we gave an extra star. We wouldn't try this place again. Pro tip - don't pay for breakfast included. We ate out 4 out of 5 days by choice...

Dissapointing stay

I'm afraid our stay at the Treehouse boutique hotel was a big disappointment and a totally different experience to those who left glowing reviews. After a long drive, we were so looking forward to a refreshing swim in the pool, however, upon arrival it was quite dirty, covered with leaves and not at all inviting, and stayed like this during our two night stay. Our shared balcony on the second floor (first floor in english) just outside room 12, had a table but oddly no chairs to sit at. When I made the booking it offered a free breakfast, but when I mentioned this we were told it wasn't. On our second day they agreed that breakfast was included, but this was too late as we'd already bought our breakfast items for an early trip the next day. The only plus for us was that the bed was comfy, however the pillows were synthetic hollow fibre and not very comfortable, there were also no cushions or bolsters for comfort in the room either, just a very hard foam chair. This is not a top tier luxury hotel as advertised, and at their price point we were expecting something far superior. There was no apology from management or anything to compensate for their mistake, just young Eric trying his best to apologose for the situation. On our last morning at 05:30 am we were woken by shouting noises outside over a loudspeaker system. So the advertised "soundproofed room" was false. We had a real feeling of being unwelcomed here, and upon checkout there was no apology, not even a smile.

El personal del hotel es francamente amable, cercano y muy servicial. Atención 24h. Los interiores son espectaculares y están cuidados con mucho gusto; el jardín, en particular, es realmente impresionante y aporta una sensación de oasis. Las habitaciones son preciosas y muy bien equipadas. Camas muy cómodas. El desayuno incluido está bien, aunque agradecería un poco más de variedad. Dicho esto, hay varios aspectos negativos que considero relevantes: 1. En primer lugar, obligan a realizar todos los pagos en dólares estadounidenses, a pesar de que en México, por ley, los comercios deben aceptar pesos. Me pareció una práctica muy extraña y, sinceramente, potencialmente ilegal. 2. En segundo lugar, en las habitaciones de la planta inferior se escucha absolutamente todo lo que ocurre en la planta superior, lo que afecta mucho al descanso. 3. En tercer lugar, hay hormigas por todas partes. Son pequeñas e inofensivas, y en un entorno tropical se puede entender, pero es algo a tener en cuenta. En nuestro caso, tuvimos que pagar 70 USD adicionales para conseguir una habitación en la planta superior y reducir el ruido. En resumen: un hotel bonito, con una atención excelente y un jardín espectacular, pero con puntos muy mejorables en política de pagos, insonorización y control de insectos.
