  • This place is right behind the James L Knight Center, right between the Brickell Avenue and the S.E. 2nd Avenue bridge. I was on the North side of the Miami River pointing my camera South East. I found plenty of parking for a reasonable price. Best time if you want lots of action would be Friday or Saturday night. For a more desolate nights I would recommend Monday thru Thursday night. Here you will find an incredible amount of photography opportunities to shoot for. While like any big city you will find a few homeless folks, the place was very clean and very well kept. Lots of new, very tall buildings have made the Miami landscape a very popular site for photography!

Lovely accommodations in the heart of downtown. Metrorail is nearby, so you can easily travel around the city. The rooms are large, modern, and really clean.

There is no breakfast included. The location is not too bad. (Close to the metro, free trolley, restaurants, pharmacy) but there is construction right beside. Overall we had a good experience there !

We have stayed at the Smart Brickell twice this year. We love this place! Clean, modern rooms with very comfortable beds, beautiful pools and lobby and great staff. The location is within walking distance to many restaurants, the river, the ocean, downtown. The rooms are large and have a balcony. We enjoy traveling and this is one of our favorite places to stay in the US.

Room was spotless Check in and out went smooth The best part is being able to do laundry in your room while enjoying an amazing view. Sofa mattress was also not flat like other properties. There was an issue with the tv, it kept reloading after a few minutes, even after maintenance came it went back to same issue. Other than that the room was spacious and cozy. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The rooms (we stayed 2 nights separated by a week) were very clean. The staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and welcoming. I definitely recommend this hotel. Additionally, it is very close to the Port of Miami and the front desk (which is 24/7) will call and arrange a trusted driver to get you there safely and on time!

Hotel and Rooms look somewhat new and are pretty much clean. Although there was some mold accumulation around the shower edge and shower floor, the rest of bathroom was clean. The rooms are large, but hotel is located just off a busy street full of traffic and for some reason you can hear the traffic, especially the police sirens and motorcycles racing by late at night. I picked this hotel because it had advertised that it had a laundry facility. But if you’re only renting a hotel room, there’s no laundry facility or laundry unit in the room. Laundry is only for the apartment rentals. There’s lots of construction surrounding the hotel. But there’s plenty of dining and shopping options within walking distance. a Publix grocery store and a CVS, plus plenty of restaurants all within a couple blocks walking distance.
