We had a wonderful B&B experience with Mark and Leticia at The Walpole Lodge! They were wonderful hosts and we greatly enjoyed getting to know them during our stay. The cabin was absolutely beautiful with stunning views of the Texas Hill Country overlooking Lake Medina. The room was large and comfortable, and had the rustic feel that you would expect from a log cabin. The bath and shower were ample and well supplied with toiletries and linens. The shower itself was refreshing with plenty of hot water and water pressure. The Walpoles went all out to make us feel welcome and comfortable, including providing a diverse and tasty breakfast each morning. We also enjoyed the house animals--a sweet tiny dog, a couple of cats, a collection of birds that included peacocks. All made us feel very at home. Overall, a wonderful stay and we plan to return in the future.

Mark and Laticia are wonderful hosts, they make you feel right at home. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on returning soon. Their log house is really remarkable and the view is spectacular. Setting out on the upper deck with your morning coffee is stupendous. Thanks Mark and Laticia, until next time.
