"This hotel was great, the moment we walked into our room it was just like the pictures & so aesthetically pleasing. We also had the opportunity to check in early, the first staff member we asked was kind of dismissive and said that early checks ins aren’t a thing here but we could drop off our luggage. We were so damn sweaty after walking, carrying luggage & not being used to east coast heat/humidity in the middle of August, the staff member who was going to put our luggage into hold said he would double check if the room was ready for us. Luckily this man was amazing and said our room was available and told us we could get our keycard and head up 💜. The room was perfectly air conditioned, the bed and pillows were very comfy, the sofa couch was a bit not great. I travelled with my mom & grandma so there were 3 adults total. I did not realize the sofa couch was a fold out until day 2, when I folded it out the mattress seemed very used and sunken in the middle. I elected to sleep on the sofa in its couch form because it was wide and comfy enough as is. I just wish there were extra sheets provided, I know I could have asked for some but didn’t feel the need to if they knew we had 3 adults & sofa bed would be used. Other than that the hotel was great, staff were lovely (besides the first person) & it was a great location to walk Chinatown & little Italy with a subway station right around the corner. Would definitely stay here again & recommend!"

"The room can use better lighting. It only has one reading light and one bedside lamp. You can't see in the room at all at night. I did use the AI via text to have someone come in the room and check the AC because it felt damp but it's because it's placed very close to the window and the curtain was covering the exhaust. No one ever showed up to fix it. I figured it out and just moved the curtain. I think they should have security by the elevator to get to the rooms because anyone can make their way up"

"We enjoyed the "old world" Art Deco charm of the New Yorker. Location was excellent, in the heart of the city, yet easily accessible by public transportation or driving right to it, and parking nearby."

"The elevators could be a little of a hassle. But everything else was pretty much on point. Very short walk to Times Square. And one of the staff returned my brother’s AirPods to the lost and found that he lost when we were in the lounge area. Staff were very friendly and helpful."
