The location is a great launch point to see smaller towns nearby. Middlebury is a nice town, the inn is charming with friendly staff and a great restaurant. The only downside is the restaurant closes at 8:30 pm however, much of Vermont seems to close down between 5:00 pm and 8:30 pm.

Room was clean and roomy. The staff was nice but we either missed them telling us or they didn’t tell us that you have to request maid service if you would like it. Not a game changer, just something you need to know. Dinner was good there. Also coffee was very good in the lobby area in the mornings!!

A picturesque, historic Inn in a good location. We had a large comfortable and clean room, though the bathroom would benefit from modernisation, as would the amenities. A bit let down at times by some of the staff, some of whom were brusque, unhelpful or just not very proactive.
