"We got upgraded to a suite as the A/C in our first room needed work and I needed a room on the bottom floor. The suite was large and very clean. There was no dresser to put your clothes in, though there was a kitchenette with drawers so I guess you could put clothes there. There was also not a rod with hangers, which was strange, just 4 hooks like for jackets. The A/C was tricky. I set it to 67 degrees and it worked, but there was no option for a continuous fan (I like the white noise to sleep by) so we ended up buying a fan at Walmart. Also, I set the fan to OFF, but it ran anyway. The bathroom was large with a bathtub/shower combination. The tub was equipped with water jets, but I never used those. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was very good; eggs, link sausage, biscuits and gravy, There was cereal, fresh fruit, and waffles you could make, along with coffee, tea, and decaf coffee."

"Perfect for my birthday getaway. The cabin was very comfortable and better in person than I expected. I had a very peaceful stay. The hosts were very accommodating. It wasn't far from Stockton Lake, which was a beautiful lake."
Waterfront Missouri Escape w/ Private Pond & Dock!

"Exceeded our expectations. Even on a frequently used thoroughfare, the cabin was very quiet and with central air, made our stay enjoyable despite the daily temperatures. The pond and boat dock/picnic or BBQ area was an added bonus along with the sitting area fire pit. The pond even had a resident common water snake which made it even more interesting. We did a first year college drop off so we’re definitely looking forward to staying at this very beautiful, spacious and quiet property. Wes our property contact put together a comprehensive renters manual. It was put together with property information and nearby sight seeing, dining and shopping recommendations. Thanks Wes. That was a nice touch and made decisions a little easier. Will definitely try my best to secure this property during future visits. Much Mahalos Wes."
Cozy 1-bedroom cabin in charming Lamar MO with AC

"The property was super cute,and it was very clean. We loved the country setting. If we are ever back in that area, this little cabin will be our go to place. It had everything we needed for a nice stay. The hostess was very responsive and let us check in a little bit early because we arrived earlier than we expected. This was very much appreciated."
Farm Stay in Jasper MO

"Our family had such a relaxing, peaceful time. There were four adults and one dog. We had plenty of space so we weren't on top of each other. Jenny was on top of the communication! She was awesome and so helpful. We grilled each night and had everything we needed to cook our meals. We went on morning and evening walks down the road. The dog bee-bopped around the yard area. Had to do tick checks before going inside, but it is the country. We were prepared with bug spray for the humans. It was an easy drive to Jasper and to Carthage. I would stay again. We went for peace and quiet and it delivered."

"The cabin itself was wonderful—clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We really enjoyed our stay. The only downside was communication. We didn't receive the door code until we contacted the host the night before our arrival. I also asked for her phone number in case we had any problems. She provided the phone number but said she would not answer the phone if it was late at night. We decided to arrive early to make sure everything was in order. When we became lost on the way to the cabin, our call wasn't returned for about 30 minutes which is a long time when you're lost. Since the cabin is in a rural area, more timely communication during check-in would have made the experience much less stressful. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable stay."

"When we pulled up to the property, we were impressed with the outside of it. It was well manicured and looked clean. Then we entered the house...hands down, this was the cleanest rental I've ever stepped foot in! My husband said the same thing, and he rarely comments about that type of stuff! We were thoroughly impressed! The house was well stocked with all of the things we could possibly need. The only thing I didn't see was an iron and ironing board. I messaged the host to make sure I hadn't overlooked it. She immediately answered my message and dropped off an iron for me to use. I was very appreciative for how attention to detail she was. We also enjoyed the hot tub. It was very clean and well taken care of. We could tell that the host enjoys what she does and takes pride in her work! We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Stockton!"
