"The staff were extremely attentive genuinely wanting to help in every aspect of my stay - I can not recommend this place enough - lovely location and the atmosphere was to me so relaxing and I so enjoyed the food and the views I enjoyed drinks on arrival and what makes this place so special is the lovely staff who honestly want everyone stay to be the best - and try and make sure that everyone does do exactly that 👏👌🙏"
"The restaurant and garden are nice and the service was good.
Good selection on the menu, including vegetarian and vegan. The food was very good.
Unfortunately the accommodation is extremely tired and is in desperate need of updating / painting. I have been generous with 3 stars as we ate in the restaurant both in the evening and morning.
If you are looking for a place to eat which is dog friendly this is perfect."

"Not really a hotel, but a beautiful, quiet, ancient retreat centre run by Quakers offering b&b. Perfectly comfortable, and a lovely garden, but some of the facilities are a little dated and tired (the shower taps were hard to figure out for example). Dont let that stop you coming though, it will be good for your soul as well as your body."
"Very friendly staff, beautiful location and excellent food. The cheese cake was delicious. Rooms clean and cosy. Nice touch with a note and little chocolates in room on arrival. Would happily stay again. "
