"Excellent breakfast. Thank you to one member of staff who moved us to a more accessible room in view of my husband having a walking stick. Totally irresponsible parking in the car park which resulted in me scratching our vehicle in order to avoid it. Signage at the entrance not visible from the car as you arrive from the main street. If you don't want cars using it (I have seen plenty using it) as I was told then it should be better marked. A very unhelpful lady staff when I mentioned it."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was small but totally functional, plenty of tea/coffee etc and toiletries. Bed very comfy. I had ordered a continental breakfast, which was ok, mini croissants and pain au chocolat, usual array of cereals, ham and cheese, could have been slightly more inventive (or bigger selection), the overnight oats with fruit compote was very tasty. The restaurant had a good selection of dishes, reasonably priced. Excellent location for me as I was at an event at Flitwick so only ten minutes drive way set in a very pretty village. Would definitely consider staying again if I was in the locality."

"Parking was great staff very friendly. We had one pack of 3 biscuits between us in the room which wasn't very welcoming on our first night. Generally everything was good and we would stay again. Negatives, furniture was very dark although the room was light bright and airy. Bed was very comfortable and our window looked out onto the Union Canal which was nice. The room was very warm even with a fan provided but it didn't do a lot for both sides of the bed. Location was good with amenities close by. Yes it's not perfect but respectable considering room tarifs."
