Amazing cottage retreat

Nice cottage vibes, perfect for a family vacation. If you’re looking for a relaxing time sitting by the fire or relaxing in chairs looking at a great view of the lake or even swimming and kayaking/paddle boarding with your family this is a great place to stay.

Nice spot for a comfy stay

Close to the whitewater course... woken up by birds chittering in the morning... what more could you want?

Nice stay

My son, myself and a friend stayed while on a fishing trip in the area. The cottage was clean and very nice inside. Great location. Had a nice time - very peaceful. The cottage was as indicated in the listing. The host was easy to contact before our stay. We had/have no complaints - would stay again.

Had an absolute blast here with our family ! Cottage was awesome and very clean. The fire pit over the lake has such an incredible view ! The lake was so beautiful and calm, and we loved the sun all day on the dock. The sun room was perfect for family games and the kitchen was fully stocked for us. Hosts were extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with. Maybe not for individuals with mobility issues due to the amount of stairs down to the lake. Lots of great memories made at this cottage !

Ali and Taz were great, communicative, responsive, and kind hosts. There was a welcome gift we arrived, amd even a nice touch of forwarding a coupon they thought we might like to use mid-stayThe property is well equipped, and there is lots of hooks, hangers, shelves and drawers to store everything which hasnt been the case in other rentals weve been in. It is far enough off the highway that there isnt much traffic noise. The lake is quiet and we enjoyed swimming and kayaking. It is well located to visit several provincial parks and the Haliberton Wolf Sanctuary (highly recommend). We like to explore different areas of the province, but if we need to stay in this area again, we wouldn't hesitate to rent this cottage again.
