Girl’s Get-away

Wedding

Amazing Stay

The house and location were perfect! We lucked out on weather and enjoyed sitting by the fire pit at night. You are right on the river!! There was something for everyone in this amazing home!! Management was wonderful and responded quickly with answers to questions. We hope to return soon!!

Perfect family reunion

Our family of 18 loved this spacious, beautiful lodge type home. There is plenty of room to spread out and relax. The grandkids practically lived in the pool, or found plenty to do in the game room. Several of the guys enjoyed fly fishing (caught a few trout), and tubing nearby was a big hit. The large dining table was a great gathering place. Highly recommend!!!

A Spectacular Property

This is an amazing property that has more than enough space for a large family with numerous amenities and entertainment on site. The property manager was very courteous and provided simple but very detailed instructions to make the checkin/checkout process seamless. The pictures of this property really do not do it justice. It was spotless, extremely cozy, and very well decorated. I cannot say enough positive things about our stay except we will definitely be back and plan to make it an annual occurrence.

Family Gathering

We loved our stay at Toccoa River Estate! We had 33 ranging from 6 months to 85 and we had a great time. We loved gathering in the theater room, jumping in the pool/ hot tub, playing ping pong, pool and playing the juke box. It was nice being on the river and the big lawn was a great space for lawn games. Each night we enjoyed dinner on the deck overlooking the river. There are so many cool spaces to hang out in the house which helped accommodate our big group. We can’t wait to return!

Spacious home on a beautiful property.

We had a great trip. We loved exploring the area. The location on the river was so beautiful. The spacious home provided plenty of space for our extended family. The basement movie room, game area and bunk room worked out great for the kids. We loved the big kitchen table where we could all eat together. We did feel like there were a few areas that could use some TLC. The outdoor furniture, kitchen pots and pans and mattresses could all use an upgrade and were not what we would have expected for the price point.

Amazing!!!

It is hard to put into words what an amazing place Mineral Bluff is. It is truly a hidden gem in the Blue Ridge mountains. One of the most peaceful settings I have been in and an incredible house. It was the first time that I felt that the pictures on line did not do the home justice. It really went above my expectations.

Company Outing

The home was large enough for our group of 22 to have time together and also be able to have separate rooms. The kitchen was well stocked and excellent for our company chef to prepare our Saturday night dinner. We were all able to sit at the extended kitchen table and enjoy our meal together (22 people). Would highly recommend for large family or company gathering. We had such a great time that we have talked about going back during the summer!

40th birthday extravaganza

We had so many friends from multiple states come and surprise my wife for her 40th. Wineries nearby allow us to distract her while the house is being decorated. The pool is warmed perfectly for our Saturday pool and games day. This was my second time staying at this house, and it wasn’t long enough! We love it Rich Palmer

Beautiful property with everything needed for a wonderful time!

We greatly enjoyed the cabin and all of the amenities included. The decor was beautiful and there were so many things to do for entertainment. My favorite area was the theater. The chairs were extremely comfortable. We had a couple of 1year olds and there were plenty of places to lay them down for naps throughout the stay. There were cribs, plenty of blankets, and small fold out beds so we were able to bring the small children into any room. The only problem you might have is not wanting to leave the property.

Perfect for a reunion

Been looking for our reunion rental and this was perfect. You have neighbors that complained. Which was not a problem but when they complained before 5 in the afternoon. Not again will we stay and it was exactly what we had been looking for about 10 years

2019 Toccoa Family Vacation

The property was gorgeous. Ample room for our group of 15. The amenities, such as toiletries, hand soaps and kitchen soap was great. Plenty of towels, kitchen, bathrooms and pool. And Lorrie Gaulden, manager was excellent. It seems as though she was prepared with an answer before I could even ask the question. She was efficient and very timely with all of her responses. I would recommend this property to any one with a large family group. So much so that we are considering this property again for our 2021 family vacation.

Book club anniversary celebration!

This cabin was perfect for our gathering! This spacious, well-appointed home fit 11 of us so comfortably. We enjoyed the bedrooms, the theater room, the pool and hot tub, and especially the kitchen! We even cooked meals together; the spacious kitchen had everything! The location of the home also made it possible for us to visit a nearby orchard and go apple picking as a group. Check-in was seamless, and the contact person was very responsive when we thought we needed help with the theater room. This home was perfect for our celebration, and we were able to create so many new memories, whether laughing and chatting inside the home, or just having relaxing conversations outside near the river. I highly recommend this place. Thank you so much! We had an amazing time!

Beautiful property, some issues

This property was absolutely beautiful, however, for the price we did not expect issues with not having an operational hot tub for 3 of the 6 nights, a/c not working correctly downstairs for entire stay, 1 of games downstairs didn't work, pots and pans have dark black grime on bottoms, 2 of our guests reported having bed bug bites from their beds in Bunk Room.

Fabulous Thanksgiving Vacation

This house and property were perfect for our large family. Everyone had their own spaces, with a couple of people who had to share a bath. As noted in description, the master on main has two baths. We dedicated that bath to our daughter and family of 4 so it was easy. The outdoor area was great with plenty of room for play, firepit was amazing and hot tub as grand! Never felt overcrowded with 20 people. The outdoor porches also provided for additional space, dining and game time! And the game room down stairs provided plenty of additional entertainment!!! The only couple of things we would suggest is to add a few more different size "pots" to kitchen, add shelves to garage refrigerator for additional ability to store food items better, the kitchen stove was great (having two for Thanksgiving was awesome) but needs to be looked at as it did not heat properly, and lastly, the bed in main master and the room with two queen beds on main floor, mattresses need to be updated (particularly since this is a luxury property) as the beds were very very soft and two queens seem to sag a bit. Awesome stay and great memories!!

Intimate wedding in the Mountains

This property was everything and MORE of my expectations. We had a intimate wedding here after having to post pone a few times and it turned out more beautiful then would have imagined. We stayed for 5 days and the wedding right in the middle of the week. The amenities were fantastic, we went on the train ride in Blue Ridge for one of the days but other then that we soaked up the peaceful serenity of the river. The pool and hot tub were great! The downstairs bar/lounge and game room was the BIGGEST hit of the week. The beds were clouds of comfort. The family raved about the beds! My sister had young children and they have a playground here they loved it. These memories will last a lifetime and I am thankful we were able to find a home large enough to accommodate the family. All in one place really made it more intimate! Highly reccomend. Cheers from the Platts.

Fantastic “experience” home for entertaining

The house is set up for large families and groups. The main floor is an open concept with multiple sitting areas. The downstairs is definitely set up for entertaining. The movie theater is well appointed with streaming and movie services. The bar area has multiple video game options and sitting areas to watch games and shows. The outdoor area is nice. We used the hot tub and everything was in working order. The fire pit is a bit small and it’s a bit muddy around it. Be mindful about the type of car you drive to the house. We were not aware that the. Last 3/4 mile to the house was a one-way gravel road. It was a bit muddy and rough (it has just poured the night before) and our small sporty car didn’t really like the ride :) I would highly recommend the house as a destination for family and group get-togethers.
