Hampton Inn Minneapolis Bloomington West

"I was very happy with my stay at the Hampton Inn Minneapolis. We opted for self check in on the Hilton app. I messaged the hotel for the reservation number because the hotels.com one isn’t the same. They were helpful and prompt to reply through the hotels app with the info I needed to set up my reservation to work with their in app system for in app check in , pick my room number and keyless room entry. When we arrived at the hotel we requested a physical key so that we would have a back up. The front desk ladies were very nice and accommodating. The room I selected was on the top floor near an elevator. It was clean but looked like it was in need of a refreshing- decor wise. The bathroom though had visible mold in multiple spots in the shower. It didn’t feel well cleaned in the shower in particular. Sink and toilet were ok. Decent soaps. Towels not great. I will add that it appeared that there was some kind of carpentry situation happening on the other end of the floor so perhaps it was going to be updated soon? Breakfast was good. Eggs, potatoes, waffle station, sausage, etc. Served til 10 which was nice. I would stay here again on a trip to the twin cities, but maybe try and select a different room with hopes of a better shower. One last thing about the staff- the front desk staff every time we encountered them were amazing. No matter who it was. Great team!"
