"We come up for a half marathon race every spring and have stayed at this hotel the last two years (my friend the last 3). We’re pretty low maintenance and really just need a clean quiet place to sleep and shower. Last year this hotel was perfect for that. Unfortunately this year not so much. I don’t know if they’re in a transition with cleaning crew but it was pretty gross. The lobby floor was filthy and sticky and others checking in were quickly coming back to the desk because they were being sent to rooms that hadn’t been cleaned. Our room was made up but dirty. Dirty towels were left in the closet. There was trash and stains on the floor where previous guests had spilled something. The bedding also had stains on it. There was a dead bug on the ceiling and the vents in the bathroom were filthy. On top of that there were loud guests running around slamming doors and talking loudly past midnight. The staff was polite and nice but I will look for alternative options if we come back for the same race in future years. "

"Property is old and not in the best condition. It was clean but dingy. The beds were soft but squeaky and dipped towards the middle. Hot water ran out during shower. Wifi was very spotty/slow. Front desk staff was friendly."

"I was to move into an apartment Sunday. On Sat afternoon the landlord called & said it won't be ready until Monday!! T'Keshia at the front desk was wonderful. She rebooked me for another night--even made sure I didn't have to change rooms. Separate bill....So I could bill the landlord. Just so sweet and accommodating. Made a very stressful situation easy to deal with. Wish I had her for the move in!!"

"Josh was very helpful and responded immediately when we needed help/info.The house was comfortable and clean for the most part. Kitchen and laundry room stocked with everything you could possibly need, although there were a few items that needed cleaning (coffeemaker carafe, tea kettle, wine glasses on wall rack). Beds were clean and comfortable. The upstairs office and LR desk offered quiet places to work.House is on a quiet street and has a private driveway which is a plus."

"Reception area very friendly and helpful. Room clean, lobby area clean, breakfast minimal but OK. Reason for only 4 stars -- room is described as having kitchen, it had a full size frig, microwave, dishwasher but NO COOKTOP/STOVE. I had to call down to front desk to find out that I had to sign out a hot plate with ONE small pan & you can ONLY use that pan! It should be advertised/described that way. Also, pillows are just awful, it was like not having one."
